The quality of this pad is very good. The memory foam with air chambers makes this pad so comfortable. I purchased this pad to replace my memory foam pad I use on my cot. It is much more comfortable than just a 3” memory foam pad. Pros: light weight and packs down small enough for my needs. (Moto camping). When filled up it’s very comfortable. Cons: the pad did leak air even though I prefilled it and stretched the materials with air. As others had mentioned in reviews, the air valve needs to be improved. On day two my pad deflated and I found the valve had opened itself up during the night as I slept.
I really enjoyed this sleeping mat and slept really well. I am 6'1" about 265 pounds and have a number of disk issues in my back and was shocked how comfortable it was. The combination of the foam and inflation works perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with how it performed. Last weekend I used it on a road trip where I slept in the bed of my truck and this mat was great. Even had a storm come and it also maintained it's warmth, not letting the cold from the metal bed seep through. The only thing that was a little wonky was using the bad to inflate the mat but once I got it figured out it worked well, definitely beats inflating manually.
It was very comfortable to sleep on but being 6’2” it was a little short. Next time I’ll purchase an XL pad
This sleep pad is _"uber"_ comfortable and supports even a larger frame person like myself with ease. Fits great atop a standard camp cot as well. The carry bag does help compress it from a space perspective, but overall, this one (exspecially in the XL) is a bit large for through hiking or longer hiking trips. Having said that is is ABSOLUTELY the best choice for car camping and overnight short haul trips. While you "can" fill this by inflating manually, I would suggest Klymit's air pump or a similar portable one to make the task easier. Durability appears to be very solid - I will give a longer impression after a few more outings and trips.
I’ve used this at least 5 times now, and can confidently say this is the best sleeping pad I’ve ever owned! I’m a side sleeper that moves around throughout the night and the padded upper area is such a game changer. I feel like I’m glamping in the back country lol. It does take a while to blow up, and can be tricky to close once it’s inflated, but I’m figuring out how to close it without letting air out and it isn’t too big of a deal breaker for me. I was curious how the flip valve would hold up and it seems really sturdy and well made so not complaints there either. I just ordered the Klymit air pump so hopefully that’ll also be a worthy purchase!
used twice now. both times air slowly let out and was flat before the next morning. pad feels great when air is just put in. could be a really comfortable sleeping pad. I noticed the bright green rubber seal in the valve to inflate and delfate has fallen out on the second use. has to be somewhere inside the pad now. could be a faulty piece or design which is why it never held air to begin with. checked for leaks after the first use and could not fine any. only place was at the valve and it was obvious as you could hear the air escaping. Will be trying another brand for sleeping pads from here on out. other klymit products have given me no problems.
My wife used this on the most recent camping trip. She is 5 foot 7” and really like the pad except for one thing. I got the Standard size pad and she felt like it was narrow, so I can’t imagine what I would think as a 200 pound male. So now I’m waiting for the extra-large to come back in stock. Otherwise the pad was a solid four stars. The valve, as others have mentioned, leaks slightly even in the inflate position. However, this was easily remedied by snapping the outer cap closed. Inflated it once for three nights of camping and it stayed sufficiently full. I’m looking forward to getting the larger one because I think overall it’s a very comfortable pad.
I've used this pad as well as it's little brother the standard for years now. The standard I used while working wildland fires, and it was so much more comfortable then my sea to summit pad I almost cried the first time I went to sleep on it. Gets nice and compact for your bags. No ultralight item but its worth the increase in weight. So far super durable no holes or cuts after those summers spiking out. Does take a little time to inflate. For the larger pad I have used it car camping and even on a 2 day back packing trip. Definitely was the largest item in my pack but that setup worked for me and my s.o. Overall these pads are amazing and I'd recommend to everyone.

I used this last month on a 3 day climbing trip to Ferne Clyffe in llinois. It is super comfortable, and I like the way the foam only covers the torso part down to the glutes. This is a good design since the legs don't need much support - they are just held up by air. Inflation was straight-forward, I flipped the valve and blew in long breaths for about 10 min. Deflation and storing was similar, and it easily fit into the supplied bag, and then into my duffel bag. The only apprehension I have is the inflation/deflation valve. This is small and made of plastic, and looks flimsy. If it fails, the pad will be useless.
