Awesome sleeping pad as long as you aren’t too worried about insulation. I bring this with me whenever I travel internationally (in carry on) and it comes in handy a ton. I’ve slept in multiple airports on it while everyone else was on the floor or trying to get comfortable on the benches. I’ve slept on it on bamboo mats in Japanese hostels to add some comfort. I’ve slept in a random spot in the alps when I didn’t get to the refuge I was planning for the night. A night under an overpass on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage and I’ve done about 45 nights of car camping with it. Never had any leaks or holes, although I’m careful to almost always have a tarp or tent footprint underneath. The valve is awesome. It’s the most comfortable sleeping pad I’ve ever slept on and the smallest. The only thing I would change is I’d like one that’s 3/4 length to make it even more packable.
I'm a chronic side sleeper, and prior to this pad, I always just had to sleep on one side until it got too sore, then roll over to repeat on the other side. And I hated having my sleeping pad sticking out of my ruck, rolling around while I was trying to get stuff out. This pad solves all of that. Blows up in exactly 15 breaths every time, and works great for a full nights sleep. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars/10 points, is because it takes a fair amount longer to get all the air out and get it flat to roll up effectively. I wish there was some kind of release plug at the bottom to help with this. Still the best pad ever though!

I purchased this sleeping pad in 2023 at my local Atmosphere store since I hoped the baffle structure would be more comfortable to sleep on, and it was certainly easier to inflate than my previous sleeping mat. I have no idea whether it would actually be more comfortable than my Thermarest, as the first night I used it camping in Jasper I woke up half on the ground thanks to a slow leak. I had to re-inflate it several times a night during the trip, and I've never been able to find any puncture or the source of the leak so my best guess is a faulty seam somewhere. Very disappointing quality, and I guess it's back to my old Thermarest in the future...
I have used this pad for 4 years without even a single leak or scratch in ALL ground cover styles. Rocks, dirt, sticks, and even wet ground without a problem. It comes with a repair kit too so if something ever happens i'm covered. It also packs down really small and is lightweight enough to take on backpacking trips yet still feels like you are sleeping like a princess. The design allows for stomach, side, or back sleepers to lay comfortably. It contours your body perfectly. I also got mine in khaki (when they were just starting out) so it blends in nicely with the natural world if you aren't looking to be a highlighter in the wild.

Took this on a 4 day trip into the Wind River Range in Wyoming. I'm predominantly a side sleeper, and with many pads my hip ends up resting on the ground. Not this one! I didn't sleep well, but it wasn't because of a sore hip! The flat inflate/deflate valve was a little different, I'm used to one that projects from the pad itself, but no biggie. Deflating took a couple rolling trials to get most of the air out which took a little extra time. The Big Agnes Air Core deflate time is much quicker, but it doesn't have the deep weld design the Static V has, so trade offs I guess! Overall, I'm happy with the function and comfort of the pad!

I got this specifically for backpacking, but the first use was at a weekend music festival. I was thoroughly relieved when I laid down and was actually comfortable. I'd had inflatable pads before that have been alright, but this was the first pad that actually felt supportive (even when I was on my side). I would recommend it to anybody looking for something that works and doesn't break the bank. The only thing I will say is that it may not have the highest r-value. I have not used the insulated version, so I cannot compare. I will be testing this product more comprehensively during this backpacking season and am excited to do so.
