Great Bag for Sailing
I recently purchased this bag while visiting the REI location in SoHo, and I've enjoyed using it very much. It's very lightweight and has done a great job serving as a day pack so far. I've even walked around with it in the rain and it did a fantastic job of keeping all of the contents of the bag dry. I bought the bag off of a recommendation from a friend who uses it for sailing, and I plan on using it for just that this summer. Based on how it performed in the rain, I won't have to worry too much about this bag getting splashed by the occasional wave. Can't wait to test it more in the future and see what else it can do. This bag is awesome!
Great Day Pack
Picked this bag up at the flagship store in Seattle before a road trip across the PNW. This bag is perfect for day hikes anywhere from the mountains to the beach. Water slides right off the outside off this thing. Has a couple of smaller compartments for storing miscellaneous items such as keys, phones, granola bars, etc. The laptop sleeve fits my 13 inch Macbook Pro nicely. Packs down pretty small when not in use and doesn't even weigh a pound. Overall, I love it!
Every day pack
I bought the Heather grey version of this pack. It arrived quicker than I expected. I’m very happy to see my MacBook Pro (13”) fits smoothly in the laptop sleeve along with some paperwork. The smal pock inside is a great feature, it fits my power cord and my phone charger. I’m also able to pack 2-3 days of clothes if I’m traveling for the weekend. The fabric and zippers have shown to be waterproof on this rainy day. Overall, I really love this pack. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a commuter bag, weekend pack or even a day hike.
Great everyday bag
This is a great everyday bag, it comfortably fits my MacBook air plus whatever else I have with me for the day. It is well constructed and very light, also love that it packs down when not in use!
AK skiing
Great bag for a day of X-country skiing in Alaska. Super lightweight, fits nicely, and waterproof! And lots of room in the bag for water, snacks, and extra layers for the cold.
Weatherproof Wonder
I use this pack for everything. It sees daily use as my bag for work, and I easily transfer it to a day adventure bag or carry-on for travel. The two aspects that I love about this pack are that it's fully waterproof, and its simple design. I have used this pack during rainy and snowy commutes, as well as taken it for a day stand-up paddle boarding (including a few full submersions in the creek). The contents of my bag have remained dry every time. I also love that there are few other bells and whistles. There are not too many pockets or straps for my things to get lost in. When in doubt, I dump it out, and inevitably find my things. Quality craftsmanship with a simple design. Can't go wrong.
Kid and Maine Proof
I have two active little girls, 4 and 6 years old, so I am constantly lugging around their toys, water bottles, food, outfits, and of course sunscreen. The bag has plenty of room for all our gear but is easy to carry. It has been spilled on and the material is easy to clean and doesn’t smell after getting wet. We live in Maine and have tested it in the rain and snow and it kept everything dry. The laptop sleeve easily fits my 13 inch laptop and my IPad.
More of a backpack than I tote but still great.
Just FYI, I don't use it much as a tote and the backpack straps aren't removable so its much more of a backpack than a Tote. But I love it. I bought the handbag version of this and I kind of wish this had a key clip like the hand bag. But otherwise, I wouldn't change anything. It fits my 13 inch macbook as suggested. Front pocket is surprisingly deep and I use the inside pocket for little things like my headphones or to stash my bracelets when I'm working out.
Big Fan of the Tote
To be simple, this tote is absolutely awesome. I use it almost every weekend for day trips to the mountains. I can't wait to bring this to the beach, perfect size. Would definitely recommend to anyone on the market for a new bag.
Best everyday bag!
This backpack has gotten me through the NYC winter weather. It's waterproof and big enough to keep everything I need dry. It is light too so I am sure it will be the bag I carry with me in the summer as well.
