Warm hands when biking
These are a great idea, easy to install on bike, but the donuts are a poor design. The first day I used them I lost one of the donuts. I was riding at night and didn't see it fall out and didn't notice it missing until the next day. When I checked into ordering a replacement, I saw reviews on how many people have lost them. With this information, and that they are $12 a pair, I decided to just buy some foam and use that rather than purchasing a replacement. Actually, the soft foam I am using, holds in place better than donuts that came with the Pogies. Other than that, they keep my hands nice and warm without having to layer up gloves and mittens in Wisconsin sub-freezing temperatures.
Toaster warm fingers
I’ve had my Cobrafist Pogies going on 3 years now. I can say while pricy they are the BEST investment for my fat bike and winter riding. I can wear summer gloves in 9 degree weather and be toasty warm.
MN Biking
Overall the design is nice. It has two pockets for holding items (hand warmers or wallet) . The bar ends are nice to hold and keep the poggies in place. There are bungie cords to cinch down on your hands and keep the cold out. I bike commute (40mins) and temps below 20 you can definitely feel it. I'm a pretty hardy rider but still feel the cold even with a light glove, I'd suggest a more robust inner glove but it's all up to the individual rider.
These are a deal maker for my commute
These work very well for me. (far superior to my previous 'other brand' attempt at pogies) I vary from no additional gloves, to gloves, to full-on winter mitts depending on the temp, workload and wind conditions. Use on a Framed Alaskan bar set with great results. I did loose one of the 'donuts' once, but LBS had replacements in stock for very reasonable cost.
For cold weather riding
So these pogies are pretty good.My hands and feet are the weak points of winter trail riding. I've yet to find gloves that are warm and provide dexterity. These pogies block the wind and are roomy enough for gloves inside. I find the part that faces the handlebar post tends to need attention most every ride, but that's a fair trade off. Would recommend to other winter riders. Keep it moving...
Soooo warm!!!!
Amazing warm! I use these when it’s below 30 and my hands are toasty. I actually wear very light gloves or my hands get too hot down to the teens.
Warm Hands!!
I have cold hand problems for years and I love bike riding. I finally bought a pair of these and where a light pair of gloves and my hands are sweating when it’s 20 degrees outside.
Worth the money
Easy install and very warm at 25F used with a light cool weather riding glove. Worth the money
Never cold
My hands are never cold. On most days you can ride with just your trail riding gloves on your hands.
