My new favorite hiking sock!

These socks traveled tp Peru and Machu Picchu with me for some serious hiking on my 70 year old feet & I love them - no pesky toe seam to irritate, great wicking properties. I put in 5 to 12 mile days at altitudes of 6 to 12,000 feet in high jungle as well as the high cloud forest. Highly recommend ❤️

Did not last at all

It didnt take long for these to get holes on the top where the lighter fabric joined the darker fabric. They were good while they lasted, they just didn't last very long. I bought 2 pairs; all 4 socks failed the same way.

I love these for a hot day, humid temps, and a good long hike or run. So happy with them.

No blisters this time

For a relatively cheap pair of socks they did exceptionally well. 36 miles on the AT in two days and no blisters. Worth the money.

Great so far

I've used these socks on three short hikes (2-4 miles) so far and they've been great. Super lightweight and comfortable. They've kept my feet cool despite very high temperatures (above 90 on all three hikes). Since they are so lightweight, my only concern long term is how they will hold up. But as I said, so far so good. Would definitely buy them again.

They don’t hold up

Within one day of wear there are little fuzzy balls all over. I love that they are lightweight and they fit well, yet I expected better quality! They look old and ratty already. I’ve purchased socks for much less that held up better and lasted much longer. This is my first purchase of the REI brand and I’m not sure I’ll keep the remaining pairs, let alone purchase in the future or recommend.

Thin and Dry

These socks are nice and lightweight and fit well with my hiking boots. The sock comes up right above my boot top, which is perfect. I've also worn them with my gym shoes and I like them better than a cotton sock as these socks keep my feel dry. My only disappointment is that they have a couple threads sticking out after a few washings.

Perfect hiking socks

These are perfect thin socks. Very breathable and do not make you to hot hiking in the heat. Covers a little higher then ankle socks. I really liked them a lot (my hiking boots have low ankle coverage) and would buy them again.

Very Comfortable

These socks are soft and comfortable and wear easy in my boots. If you can wear synthetics, I would recommend them.
