Not worth it due to polyester
I love these socks because of how they look and feel but MAN the polyester in these socks make your feet REEK. Polyester traps heat/sweat/oils inside! I feel silly for purchasing 6 pairs of these and will be throwing them away after 5 months of wear because I cannot stand how sweaty my feet get in these and the odor that is trapped inside
Decent. Pat, don't give up you're Darn Tough.
Decent socks for the price, but don't give up your Darn Tough CoolMax for these CoolMax. Socks are plenty comfortable. Let me start with that. They are a little on the thick side with the cushion. Turn them inside out and there are a thousand 1/4 inch strings from the stitching. The finished material and craftsmanship is nowhere near Darn tough but they are comfortable. I'll wear them but won't order them again. I just wish DT made more options in CoolMax cuz those sucks are about my favorite ever.
Great socks
Great socks for hiking. I wear Merrel low cut hiking shoes for a lot of my warm weather hiking and picked up 2 pair of these to try out. Extremely comfortable and will being buying more.
Great socks
These socks had the right amount of cushion for toes and heels, but not thick in the middle. I used them biking and they were just right! Good price too.
10 Hour Comfort
Nicely padded. Fit well. Husband wears them for work where he’s on his feet, up and down stairs all day. Like hiking indoors. Launder perfectly. Quality product.

I needed some more hiking socks and live in the Pacific Northwest and shop regularly at REI, but visiting family in the Midwest. The store was a little smaller but still had the essential gear needed for any adventure, and the costumer service was excellent as well.
Comfort fit, perfect match for my low hikers
I needed a pair of socks to wear while trying on boots so i grabbed these off the rack and put them on (after promising the salesman i would pay for them). Glad i did. They fit well and were comfortable for walking around all day.
Outstanding socks!
I recently purchased a pair of low quarter REI Co-Op socks for wear with hiking/running shoes in warm weather. They are superbly cushioned, fit very well. I also believe they will wear well. Good purchase, good price 👍
Needed hiking socks
These socks are super soft and the moisture wicking is great for long hikes. They are comfortable in any shoe I choose to wear. I ended up buying 3 total pairs because of how much I loved them.
