Recently purchased a Med/Short BR bib for a trip a Canada. Very comfortable to wear all day and stayed dry. I found the bibs to be good inseam length however a bit baggy overall. Maybe a SM/Short length might be a better for 5'6" 155 lb. Also the 3L Gortex material in the lower leg sustained a1" rip in first 3 days of skiing which maybe an indication of material durability.
These are as good, if not better than smart-wool crew height socks. Some may object to their lower merino wool percentage, but if you live in American southeastern muggy weather, you will appreciate the higher nylon content. Can wear them in both extremely hot humid 90+ degree weather, as well as 32- freezing weather.
I thought I had ordered 2 pairs of 100% merino socks in a men's size Large, color blue. What I received was 2 pairs of socks that were 40% merino womans size medium socks that were gray/black/yellow. I'm donating them to the local thriftshop, so at least someone else will benefit from my loss.
Supposed to be men's large, wool, and blue. None ended up as described: wm's med, 40% wool, and gray/black/yellow. I can't wear them, so I'm donating them to charity.
