Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pack! I'm a small framed gal, 5'4" and 125. I purchased the XS/S pack. Took it on an overnighter this weekend and it felt great. With the load lifters, hip belt and torso adjusters, I could dial it in for a nice fit. Plenty of straps and space so I could pack all I needed. The only thing missing is a side pocket to grab something quickly, instead of going through the top or bottom. Pretty pleased with it. Would have given it 5 stars if it had a middle pack entry point.

Is it possible to fit a bear canister in this pack either vertically or horizontally?

Asked by: Emily007
This pack will carry most bear canisters vertically however will take up most of the pack. Most bear canisters will not fit horizontally since they are too long. A shorter canister like the BearVault BV450 would fit both vertically and horizontally.

I am looking for a backpack to hike the Camino de Santiago for 6 months. We will be staying in hostels so don't need to bring a sleeping bag. Need about 3 lt of water a day. clothes, shoes, first aid, toiletries, book sox, etc. Is this a good choice?

Asked by: Trish
This pack is an excellent choice for carrying the specified items on your trip to Camino de Santiago.

Would I have to check this on a flight or would I be able to get away with it as a carry on?

Asked by: Anna
This pack measures 30 x 13 x 10 inches. Most airlines require a piece of carry-on luggage to be no bigger than 45 linear inches (L + W + H) to meet carry-on size restrictions. This can vary so please check with your airline ahead of time.

Is there a difference in pack capacity between the XS/S and the S/M? The product specs don't specify (just says 55L) and usually there is some difference in capacity between the sizes.

Asked by: remarkhannah
Both size packs have a capacity of 55L.

The description says, "Remove the sleeping bag divider and use it in place of the traditional top pocket for an ultralight configuration," however the divider appears sewn to the rear of the pack... How would it detatch (and re-attatch)?

Asked by: Cmorse

What is the capacity of the daypack? Does it just hold the reservoir or is there room for a small first aid kit and GoPro?
