This is my second Gregory pack, I already have a smaller one that I love and this upgrade! I recently moved cross country used this 60pack to live out of- as my partner and I camped across! It was a great adventure and this pack was well suited for the task.
I looked at a lot of packs for my upcoming trip. I ultimately went with this one even though it was a little bit more money because it had everything I wanted AND a rain flap. I went to pick it up today and no rain flap even though the description lists it. I was told I could purchase a rain flap separately or buys a different pack. The Gregory website lists it as no flap, so it’s an error on REI part but not sure how to fix it. So heads up….the descriptions may not be accurate, but hey oh well!?!
Love this pack!! I found the frame really comfy for long hikes. So many great compartments for gear. The back outer pockets and hip pockets are easily assessable for frequently needed items. The outer bottom compartment is perfect for shoes. I was easily able to slip my camelbak bladder in as well. Lots of loops and adjustable straps - didn't use these as much yet but would be great for attaching/securing additional items. Great color and also like that it's made from recycled materials.
