Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eco Friendly, Easy to fill and use! This is a wonderful product for both camping, outdoor activities or bringing to your kid's soccer game. The water jug is easy to fill and use. It also has the added benefit of keeping water cool for hours. I just used this for camping, and the kids loved it. I believe because it was so accessible to them, that they actually hydrated more than they would have if they had to go fill up their water bottles elsewhere. The handle on the lid is great for carrying, and you can clean easily. For those who are serious about cleanliness, the spigot can also be removed for cleaning. Another Stanley product to be proud of! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12+ Hours and 110° on the Rogue river I wanted to spend the summer using the product for I wrote a review, but after this last weeks adventure I had to post something. The Adventure Water Jug has been my go to for bringing water on some great adventures around the PacNW. I just put the jug to a great test, 12 hours rafting on the Rogue River in southern Oregon. It was 110° out so I filled the jug with ice and water before leaving. Half way through the trip our boat had finished off most the water, but the ice was still in the cooler, so I just refilled the jug with more water to finish out the rest of the day. By the end of the day we still had plenty of ice, so we made a giant jug of margaritas. I would have never done this with a normal water jug, but since you can take this jug a part cleaning could not be easier. Outside of that weekend adventure the jug has been great for the car on road trips and as a camp site water jug. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I have had my Stanley 2 gal water jug for a little over a month and have used it in many environments and activities. I have had it with me while roofing all day, turkey hunting and during travel. It had lived up to my expectations with each use. I filled it completly full of ice to see how long it would last and there was so some ice left after 3 days. I would recommend this to anyone that is needing to carry water or other beverage with them. Once again Stanley has given us a top quality products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks and Feels solid but leaks I was impressed with the quality feel and promised functional attributes, however right out of the box this water jug leaked (substantial) from the lid when tilted to the side. This is despite of "leak proof" decals all over the outside, including the top seal. I could find no defects or damage and decided to call Stanley. The customer representative took my call promptly and was professional throughout the call, unfortunately she and her supervisors had no answers. They referred me to Stanley "Quality Management" with a promise of a return call. It's been nearly a week and no call, so I will return the unit today and move on to something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for baseball tournaments, and Kombucha! Took this to a baseball tournament for continual hydration for the kids. Water was ice cold the whole time. Lot's of people commented on the look of the thermos as well. The dispenser is durable and you can easily snap on and off the curved outlet if you want a straight pour. I actually am brewing kombucha in it now because it has great thermal consistency, a quality air release valve on top, and holds the perfect amount of liquid. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ice Ice Baby This the perfect jug to keep water ice cold all day long. We took this jug to a barbecue and after playing outdoors all day there's nothing better than being able to drink a ton of cold water. Best part was being able to easily seal it up and toss it in the car when we were done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ice all weekend I've taking this for two-night camping trips twice now, and both times, have dumped out leftover ice as we pack up on the third day. I fill it to the top with a bag of cocktail ice before we drive to camp and then fill it with water at the campsite. One trip, I refilled it with the not-too-cold water from the spigot at the campsite at least 4 or 5 times, and even that couldn't melt off a full bag of ice. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding for camp margaritas! We love to take this water jug with us when we camp. Before we leave I mix up a big batch of margaritas in the jug. It is super leak proof in the car as long as you don't use any carbonated ingredients and it pours really nicely with the vent plug open on top. It's a guaranteed crowd pleaser! Do you have to hold the button down while the water comes out or can you push it on then wash your hands under it?

Asked by: Emily
You do have to hold the spigot down for water, so you cannot easily push it and wash your hands under it.
