It's okay.
I have bought many Yeti items in the past year and have been more than happy with them. That said, this was the first item I have not been completely pleased with. It looks great and it's light weight, which is good, but as other reviews have mentioned, it doesn't seem to keep ice very well. I can pack it full, and if it's in a fairly warm environment, it seems to melt pretty quick, and at 1/2 a gallon, it is kinda small. In fact, after a week I ordered I turned around and ordered a 1 gallon rambler jug to use for work instead.

I have many Yeti products and this one lives up to the usual top quality Yeti brand. I like the lighter weight feature of this one. It is not designed for keeping liquids cold for hours but I like my water at room temperature, so that wasn’t a deterring factor. The handle is comfortable for carrying and the fence clip is perfect for days at the baseball field.
Worst Yeti
This Yeti is the worst i have ever owned does not keep ice longer then 8 hours. My older Yeti hold ice and water for a few days. I am not a warm water guy and i use entirely to much ice to call this a good product but if you enjoy drinking alot of room tempature water this is the product for you.
Very well made, great insulation
Just bought the yeti 1/2 gallon jug and it’s great. Still had ice after 6 hours, and the magnet lid holder is simple but genius. There are cheaper water jugs available, but not sure there are any better made.
Great Physical Look - Terrible Insolation
Jug looks amazing, however this will not hold your ice for long! Fill it to the brim with ice in the morning and it will all be melted by the evening. Had I known this I would have bought something different.

FedEx banned metal bottles in their facilities so when Yeti came out with their Silo line it fit the requirements perfectly. It kept my hydration cold for my entire 9 hour shift. Perfect for the work place
Good but could be better
Slightly disappointed in the temperature retention in this versus the rambler style but overall really nice product.

Well made and light weight. Does not keep drinks as cold or ice as long as the vacuum insulated water bottle.
