Protected my head from severe injury
I’ve had this helmet for 10 years, and it was past due for replacement. Despite its age, this helmet saved me from a severe head injury just yesterday. I was standing still when an out-of-control snowboarder took my legs (attached to skis) out from under me at very high speed. The back of my head impacted icy snow, and if I were not wearing a helmet, I would have sustained much more than the mild concussion I suffered. I should have replaced this helmet sooner, but am grateful for the protection it provided. The helmet is no-frills, but I am tempted to buy the same model again because I know first-hand how it performs when you need it to. I may “upgrade” to something with more features, but I highly recommend this helmet to anyone. It took a tremendous impact and shows no cracks or signs of breakage.

Comfortable, thick frame
Without vents that can be closed, I planned to wear my hood over the helmet to keep warm on windy days. Unfortunately the foam of the helmet is much thicker than most and I was unable to get (large) hood over the top. A small problem but hard to know before trying it out. Otherwise a very comfortable helmet with plenty of adjustment.

Thin Paint Chips Easily

It fits great and I love the headphone feature. The problem is that the paint chips really easily. I am pretty careful with how I store the helmet, but it looks like the plastic is white with a relatively thin layer of paint on top. It doesn't look good when I am on ski patrol.

Discoloration

Wore the white helmet for one day, and it fit great. However after putting it away for the season (in my closet in a tub, so spills or potential water damage), a huge discolored spot appeared after a couple months in storage. It won't come out with any method ive tried, and isn't a surface stain. Somehow the material discolored over time. For the price of this helmet, I would only recommend a super dark color. Really disappointed, not sure if it's happened to anyone else.

Sizing is exact! No room to hear a hat

I measured my sons head (52), and according to the size chart, we ordered a mens small. It fit very snug without a hat. So when ordering a helmet, if your head size it close to the next size up, just order the next size up.

Really saved my head!

My first season snowboarding and decided to just buy a helmet instead of the potential $10 rental each time. I generally have a small head but I went with the Medium so I could wear a beanie underneath, Even without the beanie, the Medium fits well when tightened. This helmet really saved my head multiple times while learning and catching edges on the snowboard. One fall really knocked the wind out of me but this thing kept me safe! Great value for the cost!

Great beginner helmet

I bought this helmet because I was looking for something affordable and comfortable that would keep my ears warm, and protect my head when riding. Perfect timing because the same day I bought it, I took a tumble and it saved me from a headache. Great helmet.

Nice Helmet at Price Point

The helmet has served me well on the past few ski trips. Very straightforward review; the ear muffs kept me warm and were not uncomfortable. Easy to get goggles on and off. Strap is comfortable and played well with my face scarf. Highly recommend

Awesome Helmet!

Great product that is true to size. I wear a medium in pretty much every helmet I’ve ever tried, and this one fit perfectly out of the box. It is well made and super comfortable! The removable ear covers kept me nice and warm during a few nasty days on the mountain. It’s easy to manipulate the buckle strap in gloves, which is always a concern with helmets. For the price I would 100% buy this helmet again.
