Rated 4 out of 5 by from Toughest and most adjustable bike rack! This is undoubtedly the toughest and most adjustable bike rack I have ever seen. It fits the bosses of my new fat bike perfectly. One issue prevented me from giving it a five star rating and that was a quality control issue. One of the eyes designed to bolt onto the seat stays of the bike had poorly cut threads. I called Blackburn and they immediately sent me a kit that was apparently designed to fit this rack to a second bike, but one of the same eyes in that kit was too long. Bottom line: I like the rack a lot, and Blackburn honors their lifetime warrantee, but order it with a time cushion to allow a few days to get replacement parts, if necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed for my Boris The Brut The first thing that you notice with this rack is that it's tough! Built like a bridge. I was very pleased with the strength and hard core construction of this unit. Though it does look black in the photos it is indeed gunmetal gray with a silver upper. I painted mine flat black to match the finish on my bike and it takes paint very well. I used only the parts provided for installation by the manufacturer but I did have to cut and flip the lower mounts to accommodate the wide 190cm rear end on my Boris The Brut fat bike. Using the lower mounting stand off's simply kicked the rack itself out too far from the bike. Very simple to flip the mounts vertically and trim off the bulky ends leaving the bottom screw hole as your lower attachment mounting point. This keeps the rack in tighter to the bike and looks a heck of a lot cleaner. I also trimmed upper side supports to length to clean up the install. Not necessary but it does tidy up the lines of the finished product. I imagine a normal fat bike would be a breeze to install, the really fat ones force you to improvise a bit, yet everything you need is in the box. The best part is that the finished product looks and works AWESOME! I really don't think there is a better fat bike rack available. I'm really glad it worked out so well.

The height and width is adjustable to fit a variety of bike styles and sizes, but you cannot adjust it simply to add more carry space.
