Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as warm as expected Tried this jacket as a lighter option than my Arcteryx Atom jacket and expected it to be warmer. In 36 degree dry weather, I started to feel cold on my elbows and then along arms, etc. within minutes. Might be ok for cool but not cold weather. Wonder if the issue is the stitching pushing down away from seams and leaving insulation gaps. Same with the Arcteryx Cerium… You can see light through those seams.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not warm at all. This jacket is super lightweight and easy to pack; however, the down is constantly leaking out of the material and the jacket itself is not as warm as they claim it to be. I took this jacket on a backpacking trip up into some higher elevations where the temps dropped to low 30's/high 20's and I was freezing all night. I like the elastic hand holds to keep cold air from getting up the sleeves, but I wish the jacket held in heat better. Definitely not for cold weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for PCT and Anyday!! Wore this on Pacific Crest Trail--LOVED it!! Kept me warm on cool days and on cold, snowy days. It's so light, it felt like wearing nothing. Weighed next to nothing--key for backpacking. Stuffed into down pillow on many nights. Used as blanket for my dog on cold nights. Wore on trail and in town. Layered well under rain gear, when needed. Absolutely love this jacket!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from White Ghost Whisperer I love this jacket..perfect. I love my blue/purple so much I ordered a white one. I had to return it because the nylon exterior is so thin that you could see the fill which had dark pieces in it so the jacket looked permanently dirty. And I am not fussy.. Probably 5 spots on the front and more on the back. Spots about 3/4 inch. Expensive jacket but worth it. Don't get white.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Warm, but... Bought this for a winter trip thru Europe, layered it under a raincoat. Kept me warm, but down started leaking from the seams and stitching lines within a week... VERY annoying when my black dress pants were spotted with white down and I was in a nice restaurant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't get it in white This is a great jacket--super packable and warm. I originally ordered it in white but the dark down feathers showed through the very thin fabric. Zinc works better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly compressable Very compressible with high fill power. Although I haven't worn it yet, I'm giving it 5 stars because I tried two other brands and this one was so much softer, quieter and easier to compress. And fit much better. I'm 5'8" 138 and between a medium and large. The armholes were a little tight on the medium so I got the large which is not too big and I can sit in it. It doesn't have a two way zipper. I really like the Aristocrat blue - not too shiny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite jacket I was fortunate enough to be gifted this coat. I appreciate how comfortable it keeps me at temperatures varying from 20-50 degrees. I had a problem with the jacket leaking a lot of down after 3 months and Mountain Hardware was great to deal with and ended up giving me a new one. I haven't had a problem since! This is my favorite jacket and it's perfect for travel.
