Alternative Take: Scuba
I keep two Neutrinos on my diving BCD which I use for attaching gear as well as a tank banger. The important aspect is how well they've held up in a salt water environment. I rinse them in fresh water, with the rest of my gear, after every dive. But, unlike even some of the best scuba-specific gear, they show no signs of rust, corrosion, or the ever-dreaded sticky gate. It speaks well to the quality of the materials and finishes. The attached photo shows the two biners after months of almost daily use in salt water.
Using this for a hammock
I bought an Eno Singlenest from the Member's Area, but it was missing a carabiner. After consulting with the staff, I picked up two of these for the hammock. I weigh in at 330, and both the hammock and these support me just fine. That includes a lot of tossing and turning getting situated, and not once have these given me any impression of stretching or flexing. If you are looking for replacement carabiners for a hammock, these will work great.
Works
Bought for Hammock Suspension. Lightweight and strong.
great biner
i absolutally love this biner, i originally bought five and then i needed to extend my rack and bought another five i use it to hold a lot of my webbing, cord and slings to my harness and i also use it for making top rope anchors and extending draws and racking my pro. if your looking for a great lightweight wiregate biner for a low price that will also perform like the much more expensive ones look no further
Great biner
These are some of my favorite carabiners. The gate is smooth and clips well, it is light, and a good price. What more could you ask for? I use mine mostly for racking my cams and on runners.
Hammock suspension use
I bought these to use in my hammock suspension set up. They are lightweight and work perfectly as expected. The KN rating far exceeds what is needed for my hammock suspension.

Versitle Carabiner
I bought an ENO hammock at the REI garage sale that was missing the two end carabiners. I purchased two of these to use with that ENO. I would highly recommend these black diamond carabiners. They are high quality. and can be used for many different things from climbing, to back packing to ENOing. Plus the absolute best place to buy these is at REI! As for me and my house we Opt Out Doors!
Killer biner for a killer price!
I use these biners exclusively to hold accessories and rock pro. They are a tad on the small side but I think it makes it even better for holding nuts and hexes. Its also the lightest biner BD makes.
Does the job!
I bought a few of these (in orange) to clip flip flops and a hat to my backpack for a recent trip to Mexico. They are extremely light weight and strong. They did the job and securely held the items referenced above to my bag. I plan on picking up a few more.
