Underwater for 24+ hrs - still dry

Had a kayaking accident last week and actually lost my boat in a set of rapids. Had to swim to safety and get out while it was still light outside. Came back the next day to find my friends ducky (that also had my wallet and cell in this exact Pelican case). The water had dropped significantly but the kayak was upside down, lodged against a rock, with the Pelican case submerged. When we retrieved the boat, the Pelican case had caught a bunch of leaves and other debris. Shook off the debris, opened the case, and my iPhone lit up with several missed calls...unbelievable. My phone did have a bit of condensation to be fair but that was probably just from the day before when it was raining/snowing and I was taking pictures. Wish I had a pic of the case but here is how we found the ducky and the other is a pic of how we celebrated (ducky also had a dry bag w/ two celebration beverages inside). What a day! And final comment. I replaced the stock caribiner w/ some 2mm cord and a wire-gate biner.

Used this on my raft on a recent 28-day Grand Canyon trip. The box took on water every day I rowed anything big enough to splash over the side. Tried cleaning the seal, double checked the latches. Didn't matter. Everyday it had a puddle inside. It's a worthless piece of junk. Pelican should apologize to anyone who wasted their money on one.

Nice case that fits my large phone and them some!

Super Dry and fits my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 with room to spare. I use this regularly in whitewater canoeing where it is exposed to the elements and is submerged on a regular basis. It is completely dry.

Waterproof storage

I bought this Pelican Case for my go pro. Everything fits in well and keeps it all together. I have other Pelican Cases attached to my drift boat and they are fantastic. We also use them in our big dibs rafts that we use at the float trip company I work for in Jackson Hole. Can't have enough of these cases.

Great for keeping things safe on the water.

This little box is the perfect size to clip onto my kayak and paddle board. Holds the keys, phone and wallet. It isn’t cheap, but it floats so even if the clip comes loose I’m confident I won’t lose anything.

Sturdy

Works for larger phones & other items you want to make sure stays dry. I like the attachment of a small carabiner (although a more sturdy carabiner is what I use) to allow for extra security while kayaking. Been dropped a few times with little damage.

Great for camping and for stashing!

I used this for hiking and camping a few times and it works great. Very spacious and keeps things dry. For the past year or so it’s functioned as my stash box and it’s perfect! Fits my grinder, portable vaporizer, and my flower. It’s smell proof, so my little kids have no idea that it’s on the top shelf on my gear wall. Win-win!
