I picked this up as a backup bag, and I’m surprised by the quality of the materials; they are very soft and comfy feeling. This really is a fantastic value in a 32F/0C bag. It’s perfect for alpine backpacking in the summer and would work really well for trips on the coast or in the rainforest here in the PNW where it can rain any month of the year. It’s synthetic so even if it gets wet, it will keep you warm (though the experience will still be not fun…). I remember the days of synthetic mummy bags weighing 5 pounds, so this only being three pounds is pretty nice. It packs down pretty darn small using the included compression bag, so you really can hike with it. Also worth noting; If you buy the long version it’s a bit wider, which I prefer. Overall, this is a winner and can’t be beat for the price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sleeping bag for its warmth and loftiness. It is also lightweight, fast drying, and never retains odors after even my longest trips. It is effortless to pack into its included compression sack, and easy to fit in a backpack. The main zipper is double sided and has plenty of clearance so it rarely gets stuck. The whole bag includes many thoughtful design details that makes it a very comfortable and long lasting purchase that I'm looking forward to many more trips.
My Marmot Trestles Elite 30° sleeping bag kept me warm and cozy on our chilly camping trip to the coast and I love that it’s made from recycled materials—it’s good for the planet and super comfy too! Easy to pack, soft, and durable. My husband even wants one now!
