Some brands determine their own temperature rating by aligning to the Comfort rating for women’s bags, to the Lower Limit rating for men’s bags, or somewhere in the middle for nongendered bags.

Flexible and Comfortable Sleeping Bag
I tested the Wraptor on an overnight camping trip in mid 50 degree temperatures using a tent setup. The magnetic closure was the biggest difference compared to traditional bags. It made getting in and out simple and allowed me to adjust ventilation quickly without dealing with a zipper. The comfort and flexibility stood out. I move a lot in my sleep and the bag allowed me to change positions without feeling restricted. Warmth was consistent for the conditions and I did not notice any cold spots. It also packed down well enough for transport and short trips. There is a small learning curve with the magnetic closure but it becomes easy to use after a short time. Overall, the Wraptor from Marmot is a great option for campers who want more freedom of movement and better temperature control than a traditional sleeping bag. Versatile Sleeping Bag
I really liked this sleeping bag. The design is a bit different from the standard mummy style, and it actually makes a noticeable difference in comfort. The layered, almost “burrito - like” construction gives you more flexibility to move around - whether that’s sticking a foot out, sleeping on your side, or spreading out a bit more like you would in a bed. The closures felt a little clunky at first, but honestly no worse than dealing with a typical zipper system. The bag is made out of nice material - it’s incredibly soft and surprisingly lightweight. It also packs down smaller than you’d expect given how warm and substantial it feels when you’re tucked in. Overall, it’s a really solid addition to a camping setup, especially if you don’t love feeling restricted while you sleep.
Actually was great sleep without a sleeping pad.
10/10 just to get that out first. My family of four have bugout bags that have been missing sleeping bags, except for the kids. I've spent a deal of time looking for the best ones for us and it's been difficult to pull the trigger. Well! I'm very grateful I ended up with this one! With it being 3 season, pretty much 4 where I'm from, it covers so much of the year. It's extremely lightweight and can be very compact with a compression bag, which is ideal with a BoB. This is the first time I've used one with these low-profile magnetic snaps and it worked out better than I thought. I'm happy that they come with a bright color so it's easy to find when it gets dark out. I used it on 2 separate nights; one night(around 64⁰) I didn't use a ground pad and I still had great sleep in this. I'm excited to try more Marmot! This feels better than when my wife let's me be the little spoon. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
Great design.
Love this design. You can get out of your bag without loud zippers. I tend to sleep warm so having adjustments option without noises is key for me. The bottom of the bag allows you to put your feet out. Comfortable materials and color. Seems durable and I am expecting this to last as long as my past Marmot bag.
Perfect dirtBAG!
Perfect layering setup for truck bed camping with plenty of room inside the bag. Converts from mummy style to double layer camp blanket with a single snap and a magnet clip! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
Great bag! I tested it on a chilly 30ish degree night in damp, New England conditions, and the bag held up super well. I love the magnetic closure system and the bag's overall shape and warmth, but my favorite feature is the foot vent. As a warm sleeper, the bent was a great way to cool off, as I usually get too warm when using a sleeping bag like this. The magnetic closure system took a minute to get used to, but now it lets me open and close the bag quickly. The synthetic insulation performed well, as it got a little wet from snow runoff and was still able to keep me warm.
Great bag!
I gave the Wraptor bag a 5 star rating because it makes for a light weight easily stowable bag great for truck bed or car camping. I especially liked the fact its light weight and stuffs down into a sack real quick. I usually run pretty hot while sleeping so having the added foot vent was a huge game changer to help regulate heat and comfort in the bag. I was a little worried about not having zippers on a bag, but let me tell you I found myself wondering why I ever wanted a zipper on a bag ever. the quick disconnect came in handy for easy one hand opening and closing. over all I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a new bag. Marmot sent me this bag to test for free in exchange for my honest review.
Great bag with cool new features!
I received this bag in a free exchange for my honest review. My first impression is that it’s lightweight and compresses down pretty tight. At first I wasn’t sure about the wrap system (rather than a zipper) but after using it a few times I found that I like the versatility of the wrap as it’s very easy to ventilate to cool down on hot evenings. I also like how I can simply move my feet out of the footbed and cool down and then just move them back if I start to feel cold. No more fumbling with a zipper, and having to sit up to cool down my feet. The bag stayed very warm on a 33-36 degree night and (like everything else I own from Marmot) it seems very well made and should be easy to clean when needed. All around it’s a five star bag!
Amazing new sleeping bag with great features
I will say I absolutely love all my marmot products and when I was sent of of these for product testing to review I got excited. I had heard of this model and since then I’d always wanted to get my hands on one to see. I have the 30degree synthetic and let me tell you… this is warm-warm. Having the second layer system over you is so nice especially on the colder winter and spring nights, but for when it heats up being able to stick your feet out the flap in the bottom of the bag cools me off and puts me to sleep quick because I have sleep issues if I’m too warm. The overall construction and materials on every Marmot product I’ve owned including this one has felt incredible. I have no worries about this bag ripping for a long time. The button snaps feel durable and the magnetic closure is really nice. Easily accessible with one hand for when you’re not wanting to get two hands out to use a zipper. The only issues I feel with this bag are for me (6ft 180lbs) the sleeping bag feels slightly narrow in the shoulders for me so keep that in mind. Other than that because I toss and turn a lot at night I feel like the bag is slightly claustrophobic to me. Again I absolutely love the bag I’ve just ended up mostly using it to sleep on since it’s been warmer nights lately. Disclaimer I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. again I absolutely love the bag there’s just those couple things to keep in mind. No matter what I would always recommend Marmot products, I’ve used them for years.
New favorite sleeping bag
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The Marmot Wraptor 30 Synthetic is hands down my new favorite sleeping bag. I spent a few nights traveling around and sleeping in the back of my truck, and this bag kept me plenty warm through the night. Average temperature was 35-40°F so nothing too crazy but I didn't need to wear thermals or sweats to bed. I loved the zipper-free, magnetic system for the bag. It made life very easy going to bed and getting up. My favorite feature though is, without a doubt, the zipperless foot vent. My feet get hot really fast as I am trying to go to bed, and this made it super easy to just poke my feet out of the end when I need to, and then pull them back in when I need to warm them up. 10/10 experience with the Marmot Wraptor 30 Synthetic.
