I bought this bag for our trip to the Adirondacks in upstate NY. I bought the 2lt for myself and the 1.5lt for my girlfriend. For a 7 hour hike this bag did the job with enough water and essential snacks packed in for the trip. Looking back, I would have bought my gf the 2lt bag as well as she ran out of water. Highly recommended, super lightweight almost feels like you are not carrying anything.
I take some very long rides where two water bottles may not be enough especially when in the wilderness. I can pack a vest and bandana in the small outside pockets along with my bike pump in the “pole holder” the front pockets are great for my phone and multitool. The inside has enough room for the bladder, snacks, more layers, my gloves, camera, wallet and really anything needed for the day. It fits well on my back and doesn’t shift too much while riding.
I use this for short hikes, runs, and biking. For all of these activities I usually hate carrying things on my shoulders, but the fit works well for me. I have somewhat narrow shoulders but a broad chest and for this reason I often find women’s packs fit much better. But this one is spot on for me. The hydration bladder works fine, but this is my first bladder ever so I don’t have anything to compare to.
Great lightweight pack, with a super comfortable and snug fit. Pack doesn’t move at all. It’s has two nice sized zippered pockets on the front, to keep your modern phone and other bits secure. Storage is good for a 10L pack, bladder sleeve and a bungee on the back for some extra storage. I use the pack for hiking, but wouldn’t hesitate to run some miles in it, due to the great fit.
Great pack for short or long day hikes. Plenty of storage in the back for gear, snacks and hydration bladder for longer hikes. Compresses to keep gear from bouncing and loving around. Large zippered pockets are large and stretchy, easily fitting large phones and what not.
I have owned a Salomon 30liter pack for five years now and it was time to get a more compact, breathable, but comfortable and form-fitting pack that would hold 2 liters of water plus my other necessities for our upcoming Grand Canyon trip.
Bought it a few months ago I've used it from everything from small day trips to fly fishing. I like how high it sits on my shoulders, when I'm waiting in water the pack doesn't get wet. It also holds all my fly boxes well.
Great mid to entry level pack/bladder setup. Love all the included compression cords and hidden straps. Bonus included tiny whistle too!
Most comfortable pack I've ever used! Perfect for biking and hiking day trips.
