Side pockets are too small for most water bottles

I love Cotopaxis business model and the overall functionality of this backpack for hiking. I don’t like using water bladders and unfortunately the water bottle pockets are super small. They don’t fit the 32oz hydro flask or the regular size Nalgene bottles. I can get my Owala free sip SWAY because the bottom is narrow but the fit it super tight. I live in the desert and may need to exchange this pack because of the side pockets 😞

Great bag!

This is a beautiful bag and is very functional for short/day hikes. Really love the shoulder and waist straps. I do wish there was an option to pick your own colors like there are with other del dias, but overall great!

The mesh wasn’t for me

I returned this and ultimately went with the 18l allpa. It was hard getting a water bottle into this and the bottle didn’t feel secure. The front mesh pockets felt loose unless the backpack itself was filled to the brim. There was toggles to adjust the tightness of the front pocket, but if you tightened it than I couldn’t get a water bottle in at all. The main compartment was wow really small. I have a the kids backpack which is, I think a 12l that I like even more than this. It seems to have the same amount of storage capacity and a more straightforward design. I use that back for biking because it is so lightweight. I will say I LOVED the color way they sent it and it was hard to return for that reason alone, but I knew I wouldn’t get a ton of practical use out of this. It just didn’t suit my needs or what I look for in a bag.

An Amazing Addition to an Amazing Honeymoon

My husband bought this bag for me while honeymooning in Utah. I love the material, and it is surprisingly spacious. the straps are very adjustable, and hugs my figure perfectly for a pain-free load on hikes. I actually ended up using it as an extra bag when we flew home, since I came with only one carry-on bag. Highly recommend this bay for a short hike or just an everyday backpack.

Love!

This backpack is so fun and colorful. I love that it is made with recycled materials and I appreciate what Cotopaxi supports. Upon opening, the bag seemed a bit stiff and like it could be uncomfortable, but I am anticipating that it will loosen up over time. I got this bag because my friend had a similar one and I loved hers.

Made By Filipinos in the Philippines

Cotopaxi's color scheme will never fade out of fashion. I write for Positively Filipino, so I'm still hoping they'll let me interview their leadership about their choice to manufacture in my ancestral homeland. Why are they being so private about their public image?

Love!

This is my 2nd Cotopaxi bag and I love this pack. Its way more comfortable then I was expecting! I hike a few times a week and this has been a game changer. I use a weighted vest and it fits really comfortably under as well.

Elqui 18L

Love this backpack for small hikes and taking around town. It’s extremely lightweight but still structured enough that I have support. I like that there is a computer pocket. If anything, just wish there were more pockets!
