Packable and comfortable. I can carry this all day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gregory Arrio 24 was given to me to test and write a review on. I have searched high and low for a pack that checks all of the boxes, and this Arrio 24 does the trick! I can fit plenty of day gear and layers for fishing, hikes, or day use. Living in Utah means that you might experience all 4 seasons in a single day, so the ability to handle lots of items is imperative. I love the dual stretch water bottle pockets on each side. The front panel pocket is clutch for quick need items. The zippered small front pocket is super for snacks, glasses, and has a key clasp for safe keeping. The inner pocket is very forgiving and holds more than I expected. My two favorite things about this pack are the rigid back framing with shaping and ventilation to reduce overheating and pressure against the body along with the stretchy hip belt straps. I really was amazed by how well this fits and carries. This is a truly outstanding pack

A pack that is just as great on a day hike with the kids, as it is for a solo mission

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gregory Arrio 24 is an excellent choice for a day hike or event a multi purpose travel trip. I have used this pack for everything from my walking commute to work to day hikes on NC trails. So far the thing I have loved the most about it is that it’s not overly hot because of the air flow channel in the back, it is also a very comfortable pack to wear weather full or not. The Arrio 24 has lots of great space - the side pockets held big water bottles or plenty of snacks and were super easy to access. The big pocket had a space for a bladder, which I also used to put my laptop in when I used it for work, and the front pouch is great for a jacket or a blanket. The material has held up well despite going up against rocks, dirt, and pavement and even whether some showers without getting anything wet inside. A 24L pack should hold enough for a a full day adventure, and this one did that and more for me, all while being easy to bare the load, and easy to access everything I needed to. I will say the structure of the pack made it a little too rigid to fast pack with, but it was perfect for hiking. I did receive this product from Gregory for free in exchange for an honest review.

Great little day/travel pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ⭐ Gregory Arrio 24 – Full Review After Field Testing I’ve spent the past few weeks putting the Gregory Arrio 24 through real‑world use, starting with a 6‑mile morning hike through the desert near my Tucson home. I loaded the pack with 3 liters of water and another 5 pounds of gear to simulate a typical day‑hike setup. With the temperature hovering around 80 degrees, it was the perfect environment to test ventilation, stability, and comfort, and the Arrio 24 performed impressively. I also took this pack on a 4‑day trip to California and used it as my everyday carry throughout the trip. It handled travel just as well as it handled the trail, offering plenty of space for everything I needed while staying lightweight and easy to manage. 🎒 Packing Organization For a 24‑liter pack, the organization is efficient and thoughtfully laid out. The main compartment opens wide, making packing simple, and the internal pockets help keep essentials sorted. During my California trip, it easily held my travel items without feeling cramped. My only criticism is that I wish the zippered pocket were a bit larger. I ended up placing some smaller items in a mesh pouch when storing them in the large outer un‑zippered pocket so they wouldn’t get lost. It worked fine, but a slightly bigger zip pocket would make the layout even better. 👟 Fit The Arrio 24 fits more like performance apparel than a rigid pack. Adjusting the harness was quick and intuitive, and once dialed in, it stayed secure without restricting movement. Even with the added test weight, the pack remained stable and comfortable throughout the hike and during long travel days. 🏔️ Suspension System The suspension system is one of the standout features. The off‑the‑back progressive mesh backpanel created noticeable airflow, something I appreciated immediately in the warm desert conditions. Even with a full 3L hydration load, my back stayed significantly cooler than with traditional contact‑back designs. The suspension kept the load close and controlled without feeling heavy. 🧵 Material Quality The construction impressed me right away. The fabric feels durable yet lightweight, the stitching is clean, and the zippers operate smoothly. Nothing about the pack feels flimsy. It’s clear Gregory put real thought into balancing weight savings with long‑term durability. 🔓 Access Points Access is simple and well‑designed. The main compartment opens wide, and the secondary pockets are placed exactly where you want them. Whether on the trail or navigating airports, I never had to dig for anything. ☁️ Comfort Features The comfort features really shine. The elastic CloudControl waist belt was a pleasant surprise. It flexed naturally with each step, providing stability without feeling restrictive. Combined with the breathable backpanel and well‑padded shoulder straps, the pack stayed comfortable even under load and in warm conditions. ⭐ Final Thoughts After using the Arrio 24 on both a load‑bearing desert hike and a multi‑day travel trip, I’m genuinely impressed. The ventilation system works exceptionally well, the adjustability is quick and intuitive, and the construction feels solid for such a lightweight pack. Aside from wishing the zippered pocket were a bit larger, the Arrio 24 checks all the boxes for a breathable, comfortable, and versatile daypack. If you’re looking for a pack that performs equally well on the trail and on the road, the Gregory Arrio 24 is absolutely worth considering. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest feedback.

A great daypack that really excels at comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Background : I work at an outfitter and spend multiple hours per day outfitting backpacks to customers. Backpacks are also the subsection of gear I like to play around with the most. With that in mind I was excited to get to play with the Arrio 24. I was able to test the backpack out from mid February through the end of March. During that time I was able to use it for multiple day hikes that totaled over eighty miles on trail. The bag was also used in cold/moderate weather climates and while carrying loads in the 10lbs to 20lbs range. Features : The pack itself is a 24L pack made with day hikes in mind. It features three main compartments, an outer stash pocket on the back, a zippered smaller compartment above the stash and the main zippered compartment (which holds the reservoir compartment as well). The main zippered compartment is only accessible via a topside zipper that runs halfway down both sides of the bag. The pack also features an open flow back panel using Gregory’s VaporSpan technology, a wide CloudContol hipbelt, two mesh water bottle pockets, trekking pole bungee loop and three gear loops on the outside. Packing/Access Points : The five main access points are the outer stash pocket, the smaller zippered top pocket, the main zippered compartment and the two mesh water bottle pockets. The outer stash pocket sits on the back of the bag and is covered by the same nylon ripstop material as the rest of the pack. It is the perfect size to slip a layer, binoculars, food or a combo of any of those into for easy access on trail. I used it to mostly slip a synthetic mid layer into after heating up but it still had room to fit an additional object or too. It was also possible to bend my arm backwards and grab items out of the top of the pocket without taking the bag off which I appreciated it. The smaller zippered top pocket above the stash just about a phone length wide and a phone length deep. I used it mostly to store keys and snacks on trail. It was easy to open when needed. The main compartment felt surprisingly roomy for a 24L bag. It is a top access zipper compartment, with a reservoir compatible sleeve inside. The two mesh water bottle pockets were also big plus. While I never filled both pockets and the reservoir pocket, it’s a nice touch to be able to pack a high amount of water for a trip. The pockets were easily accessible, never caused issues with releasing my bottles either. They easily fit both Nalgene bottles and larger metal ones. The straps on both side above the pocket also made it easy to use one for a tripod or camera setup. Comfort/Fit : This was the features I was most excited to test out. Prior to getting the pack, I was snowshoeing in -10 degree weather earlier in February. Doing this I ran into the issue that my daypack backing/padding was pushing my outer puffy jacket into my back which in turn caused it to get wet from sweat. This led me to be pretty excited for the open air mesh back panel (VaporSpan by Gregory). I was not disappointed. After switching to this pack I did not encounter this issue on any further hikes. The mesh back panel allowed great air flow and really kept the backpack suspended off my back. The pack itself is also incredibly comfortable. Between the back panel, the CloudControl wider hip belt (the hip belt strap is about two inches wide) and the shoulder straps being aired out, the pack was extremely breathable and also felt like it was never really there (even when closer to 20lbs). There is less padding on the shoulder straps than some might suspect (perforated foam) but I never felt any discomfort or digging in after a longer hike. The shoulder straps also feature open mesh, which is what makes them super breathable. Material Quality : The pack outer is made of 210-denier nylon ripstop with a DWR finish. I was unable to test it in moderate to heavy rain but the bag did well in light rain. I also poured some water on it and it rolled right off. The bag also held up well in brush, thorns, and overgrown sections of woods. It never really got caught or snagged. Overall : I really like the bag and it will become my new solo day hiking bag. The bag is able to carry just the right amount for a solo trip with easy access on trail. The features with the back panel, hip belt and shoulder straps make it extremely comfortable on trail, moving easily with your body to the point that you don’t even notice it’s there. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a comfortable daypack, or is hiking in a drier/humid/hot area where the airflow from the back panel might be more significant.

The Gregory Arrios is my go-to day pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Gregory Arrio 24l for desert hikes and training for the Grand Canyon, its quickly become my go to pack. The ventilation on the back panel is excellent. It carries a hydration bladder easily, and the side pockets are deep enough to keep water bottles secure without worrying about them falling out. The stretchy waistband is surprisingly comfortable, hugging just enough without feeling restrictive. With 24L of space, ive had not trouble packing an extra layer or plenty of snacks. Overall, its a lightweight, breathable and reliable pack thats handling my needs well. I do wish I had this pack in a lighter color as the black material does attract heat. Gregory provided this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Gregory gave me this free product to try.

Solid Gregory Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pack has been a real solid, loaded about 10lbs to hike up guadalupe peak and it held my things well and quick access pocket was perfect for a shell. Breathability was awesome since this pack had the raised back, I’m a heavy back sweater so it helped a ton. My only gripe was the waist belt, interesting design but it kept slipping up my waist even with the minimal amount of weight in the pack. I wish it was a solid nylon strap in my case but I could see how some fast hikers that are looking for mobility could find it a benefit. Other than that this pack is super light and has all the features you would want in your standard day hiker.

Perfect day pack 10/10

I took this bad boy out on a few ski tours, some training hikes and through a few weeks of stairmastering with up to 25lbs of dumbbells loaded up. This is now my smallest internal frame backpack and I love it. It carries weight flawlessly and has a clever pocket layout. I can easily get both size Nalgenes in and out of the side bottle pockets without taking the pack off which is important to me. Fits avy gear and an emergency layer no problem. The back mesh panel keeps you from pooling sweat in the small of your back too which is important for sweat boys like myself. I also liked how the stretchy waist belt fit. This pack feel integrated into your bone structure. If you’re an efficient packer this is a perfect day pack 10/10 Gregory gave me this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion

Excellent lightweight day hike pack

Solid lightweight pack, has the right combination of features and storage while prioritizing a more lightweight approach than other packs. The mesh back panel works very well. Shoulder straps are pretty thin (as expected) with a little bit of padding, but I had zero discomfort with them. The hip belt took some getting used to since it has less padding than heavier packs, but I was able to get comfortable with it and it worked well for carrying the weight on my hips (caveat that this will depend on your height and how much weight you're carrying). Layers, food, and 2.5 liter reservoir for a day hike worked great in this pack. My one complaint - the hydration reservoir hanger is not compatible with Osprey reservoirs. I've hacked together a decent solution with a velcro strap, but I wish backpack companies would prioritize cross-compatibility.

Fantastic Backpack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an awesome backpack! Perfect size for day hiking. It has a water bladder pouch on the inside, and a spot on the side for collapsed hiking poles which I appreciated. Its metal frame makes it comfortable for long distances as well. packing organization, Gregory gave me this free product to try. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

lightweight backpack with trampoline frame

I bought this for the lightweight and trampoline frame feature. The frame gives the backpack amazing rigidity and really keeps my back cool and well ventilated, but with a big caveat being that the bottom corners really dig into the sides of my upper glutes, especially when carrying a 3liter reservoir. The hip belt also offers limited weight transfer and is mostly used for stability.
