Horrible Hydration System!

This is the perfect size pack. It can easily accommodate a down jacket on colder mornings that later warm up. I also like the easily accessible water bottle pockets. However, the water bladder is poorly designed and completely useless! The top clamp comes off easily and leaks, soaking the entire bag. After many attempts to make it work, I finally just threw away the water bladder. What a waste because the pack itself is great…adjustable and detachable straps, sufficient pockets, lightweight, and perfectly sized for day hiking. Unfortunately, it cannot be used with a hydration system which was a reason for purchasing it. The pack can only be used with bottled water which makes drinking while hiking less frequent. Consequently, I am somewhat disappointed with my purchase. At least I got it on sale.

Summit/scramble/running pack

Bought this for a summit/scramble pack, when I’m doing technical ventures (think Capitol Peak, Flatiron scrambles) that don’t require a bulky or big pack. I needed something super lightweight I can backpack in with and this is perfect! It’s true, the included reservoir sucks, but I just use my Osprey one that I already had. Holds a surprising amount and I love all the different pockets and ways to keep things organized. I also run with this and it’s great for that as well - the removable waist belt helps keep it from bouncing around too much. Overall very satisfied with getting this on sale!

A Workhorse Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this pack for hiking and it is perfect! It’s big enough to store snacks or food, extra clothes, and even shoes! You can even use the elastic straps on the back to tie down anything that you can’t fit inside. This is truly a workhorse of a pack and I know I’ll be using it for many years to come.

New Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took this bag on the trails the last few days and it's amazing how much lighter it is then my old bag. I haven't upgraded my bag in a few years so this light fabric was very nice. Also it seems like everything is adjustable. Every strap, harness, and clip can be moved for better comfort.

Great for Bike Rides and Hikes

This pack is my go-to for bike rides and hikes! I tried running with it, but it bounces too much for running. It holds a ton and super comfy. I have even used it when it is 100 + degrees and it doesn't get too hot.

Feels good on the shoulders!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love this hydration pack for cycling and hiking. It worked beautifully! I was able to carry a good amount of water, had space to carry an extra layer, and lots of storage space for snacks. This pack is very light weight and good padding for the shoulders. I recommend this hydration pack!

Lots of room in this bag!

A lot of storage in this pack comes with a small bladder. Put a three liter bladder in with a back up two liter bladder for an all day hike. The pack did really good and lots of storage.

Nathan Bladder

The VERY FIRST time we filled up the bladder and tried to get the piece back on, the plastic piece cracked. So unimpressed with that.
