Super light, easy to stuff if it warms up during run. The collar has just enough stiffness I can actually fold it down so it doesn’t touch my neck, which solved a big pet peeve of mine. But if it’s very windy I can fold collar back up for added warmth. Sizing is tricky, based on size chart measurements I am low side of small, but based on the models wearing a medium I took a risk and went with a medium and it’s perfect. I wear the Salomon pulse high waist belt running and the jacket is just loose enough to skim overtop. A small vest would have been short and tight enough I would have had to wear belt over the vest which wouldn’t be as comfortable. Overall great piece for shoulder seasons, easy to layer and get lots of use out of.
I bought this a month ago on the sale and I've worn it non stop. It's a perfect additional layer over the top of long technical tops when it's not cold or wet enough for a jacket. It keeps the wind off. I wouks say its not quite warm enough for very cold runs - its an autumn or spring layer. Love that the collar is big enough to keep my neck warm when zipped up and that there's a button at the chest so you can unzip the front when you get warmer and it doesn't flap around.
I just used this for the first time and it may be the most perfect wind vest ever! The small amount of insulation makes a huge difference in terms of blocking the wind and offering a bit of warmth and comfort. Very lightweight and packable; it will always live in my mountain bike pack. I love the fit of the vest which is slim but not tight, and the comfort of the collar.
