I have looked for a neutral color vest for a long time, lightweight, for wind on a cool but not cold day. I have many vest, heavier for ski uses, lighter (uninsulated) for just wind. Te only one I have in a similar weight is bright purple from years ado and looks wrong with so many shots and sweater. I got this in the dove (off white ) color and it fits perfectly and goes with everything, especially in the spring for the light extra layer. It was also on sale in the outlet section, I had a sale coupon for 20% off. Can't beat that combination.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this vest in two sizes hoping I could make it work because it is a versatile weight for indoor and outdoor casual use. But I returned both because this vest really needs a two-way zipper like the Fjallraven vest I own. Without a two-way zip, the bottom of the vest bunches up uncomfortably at the bottom if one is sitting or driving. With a two-way zip this vest would be perfect. Indeed, better than Fjallraven, which has two-way zips on their gear. Makes a HUGE difference. I love the Onward jacket which is the same weight and has two-way zipper.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m 5'2" and 125 lbs, and small fits great. The length hits just below the waist and slightly above the bottom, which works well on my frame without feeling bulky. I really like the birch bark color and the matte finish - it looks clean and simple. The side split is a nice detail and was exactly the style I was looking for. I wear this vest for everyday use, both indoors and outdoors, including walks and hikes. It also layers well under a longer coat and works nicely as an extra layer. It’s very lightweight, soft, and easy to pack, and barely noticeable when wearing it. It provides some insulation, though not as much warmth as a down vest, which makes it comfortable for mild conditions or layering. Overall, it’s a versatile, easy-to-wear vest and I’m happy with it.
Nice quality and style, but runs big. Even the XS fits loose. I wish the waist were more fitted in the back. I’m 5’4”, 110 lb.
I have been wanting to purchase a vest for over a year. This vest is light weight to add warmth without bulk. I can wear it at work or on hike- fashionable and technical. I would recommend this vest to others and am excited to have it as a staple in my outdoor wardrobe. I purchased the black since I tend to get things dirty. I also like the insulated material over fleece because it does not attract pet hair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still have a Marmot jacket from college in the early 1990s! When a brand is good I stick with it. The vest is great and I trust it to last for years to come.
Excellent light weight vest. Fits well. Great shade of blue. Attractive for casual wear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I wanted. Nit bulky but warm. Beautiful blue color. Soft and sleek.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect lighter weight vest. Perfect for layering and super packable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, comfortable and warm but not heavy. Very pleased with my purchase
