ASICS  Glideride Max Road-Running Shoes - Women's

Love these shoes!! They are so comfortable, I have no lower leg pain when running, and because of the aggressive rocker I’ve knocked about a min off my pace with them! The only complaint I have is the toe box is a tad narrow, I have some minor rubbing one the side of the ball of my foot but no blisters have formed so it’s pretty minor. I also am obsessed with the light blue and orange colors, it’s gorgeous.

I bought these to run a marathon after concluding the previous and current Asics Nimbus weren't going to work for me. The GlideRide Max rocks forward better than Nimbus. I needed to size up 1/2 even for my normal Asics run shoe size. I made it through a few long runs, even the 20 miler, with more energy in my legs and better feeling knees than before. Just ran a marathon in them last weekend and had more endurance even after the 20 mile point and better recovery than my previous marathons. These are great shoes! Would recommend for distance running. Shoe does need a little break in. I'll note I have run with Asics Nimbus, the most comparable shoe to the GlideRide max, a number of versions.

For full perspective, I typically run in lower profile or firm cushion shoes. I need that road-feel. However, I’ve been running for 30ish years and my feet are becoming sensitive to minimal cushioning and I’ve been having pain in my feet while wearing my low profile shoes. I bought this shoe for the extra cushion. This shoe is extremely comfortable, but for me I lose the bounce of my stride in the cushion of the shoe and it feels more tiring. For someone who enjoys soft cushioning it would be a great fit.

I rated the Glideride Max with 3 stars. The reason being, the cushion comfort of the shoe seemed to stop at the ball of the foot extending this lack of "cushion feel" to the toe of shoe. Otherwise, I was well pleased with the comfort I felt from the heel to the ball of foot. If the design changes to make this comfort to extend all the way to the toe of the shoe, I would definitely purchase them again.

These running shoes are far and beyond better than any others that I have had - cushion and support that makes walking and running effortless and easy on my joints. They feel great!

These are the most comfortable shoes ever. Great support, but feels like you are walking on a bag of marshmallows.

Excellent running sneakers. They provide a lot of cushioning while maintaining good strong support.

My new favorite trainer! It is so soft and it has much more toe room than the older Glideride 3!
