Better stability with comfort

The Nimbus 28 are great! For me, the Nimbus 27’s were to wide and did not provide enough side support to keep your foot stable. The 28’s have a slightly more narrow design which helps the foot stay more stable. Very happy! These shoes are extremely comfortable. Only flaw is that I wish it had more varied color selections. Very happy with this version of the shoe.

Like walking in the clouds

These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn! They are ideal for those long, slow days.

What is happening to the Nimbus?

Is ASICS trying to sabotage their own shoe line? The last pair that resembled the Nimbus were the 26’s. They took a fabulous shoe and turned it into a Hola looking shoe. Their hasn’t been cushioning in the tongue of the shoe for quite some time. This makes my feet red and irritated. The colors are the other horrible decision. I remember when I couldn’t wait for a new line to come out because the shoe didn’t change much and there were so many awesome new color combinations. Now the keep recycling the same colors and the changes they make are horrible. What is Piedmont Grey? It is actually like a light blue color. Can we have grey, blue, white and black back(all the black shoes have weird colors in them). I searched to try on the 28’s and I couldn’t get them in the store at Dick’s, Foot Locker, etc… Am I missing something? At first the Kayano’s disappeared from stores now the Nimbus. What is happening?

A#1!!

The tennis shoes are the best I have ever worn. As a retired physical education teacher, I have gone through some tennis shoes and lots of brands. I was wearing Hokas until someone told me about the gel-nimbus. On my second pair. I bought them to help with my plantar fasciitis. They helped and the fasciitis is gone. This is the shoe for me!

Lightweight support

Purchased these as a replacement to my pair of gel nimbus 26. They are much lighter and just as supportive. They feel more snug all around. They are intended to be used for everyday wear during pregnancy. My gel nimbus 26 saved me during my last pregnancy so I couldn’t resist but reup on a new pair this time around !

Not what I expected

Always wear the Nimbus - however let me say there is a definite difference in this shoe - less cushioning which was very noticeable !!!!! I even had to look to make sure I bought the right shoe - as someone who has knee, hip and back issues - this was was always my “go to” - maybe not this version - disappointed

Gel Nimbus 28

I've bought several pairs of Gel Nimbus shoes from Asics and I love them! I walk about 5 miles a day, so I use them often unless the sidewalks are covered with ice. The Ascis are comfortable and offer lots of support. They come in a variety of colors, so I don't get bored with them.

Comfy but squeaky

Easily the most comfortable shoes I've worn but oh my do they squeak on almost any hard floor surface! Unfortunately it's so bad that I'm no longer able to wear them to work, which was why I originally purchased them. I'll probably only be able to use them for outdoor walks.

Perfect shoe for NURSES!

I bought this shoe to wear at work as a nurse. The base feel like you are walking on a cloud! They are so light and airy. I love how the top is more elastic making it easy to slip on and off! LOVE! Please keep making these- they are my new favorite!

Gel- Nimbus fan

I don’t like the new string loops. The ones in the 27 model are better. The toe box is too wide in the mineral beige and piedmont grey. The black is a smaller toe box, which is better. The cushioning in the shoe is great.
