This shoe does not rock!
No, I do not recommend this product
This shoe does not rock. It is too squishy for me and has no midfoot landing area. I struggle between trying to land on my forefoot and heel in this shoe. There seems to be a void for a midfoot landing. When I tap the toe box with my finger while it is on a flat surface, it does not rock from toe to heel. Instead, it wobbles from side to side. Also, it is too wide for my foot. I thought it might work for me while I tried it in the store, but it is not fun to run in at all.

Novablast 5
Yes , I recommend this product
These are my first pair of the Novablast 5, I’ve run in the Novablast 3 for the last few years but those were fully discontinued. The Novablast 5 has a softer/squishier foam than the 3, but even as someone who prefers a firmer shoe, they felt great. I got an 8.5 (same as the 3) and the fit is nice, the toe box feels roomier! I’ve taken these on one long run and can’t wait to see how the shoe feels a few hundred miles in!

Great all-purpose running shoe
After putting 50 miles on them, I can definitely see why this shoe has been so well received by various reviewers and forum posters. They're light, well-cushioned without being mushy, and have a roomier toebox than most other shoes I've tried while still feeling secure. They also do well at a wide range of paces except for those all-out efforts where plated shoes shine. Looking forward to putting more miles on these.

Love at first Step
I went through 4 pairs of the Novablast 3 and they were a favorite. I skipped over the Nova 4 as I heard they shoe wasn't as great but hello to the 5. I did not think this shoe could get much better but it did. There is more cushion than the 3 with a little more bounce and a better fit for my foot. The shoe seems to have a bit more breathability and I am overall excited to log some long miles in this shoe.

I didn’t think the Novablast could be that much better than the already perfect Novablast 4, but wow! Was I wrong. The 5 is out of this world bouncy and there is so much responsiveness! You just want to run fast in them! Love these and will order more colours!

Used shoes sent
Although I love the shoes for 150.0 they came dirty and used . I was super bummed. I haven't figured out what to do yet really needed them for my marathon next week. Super disappointed I expected more from REI

Lack of instep support
No, I do not recommend this product
These shoes are very comfy, but don't give a lot of support. My instep falls inward and there is no support there. I do not run. I walk 2-3 miles a day. Maybe just the wrong shoe for this activity.
