I’ve had the Garmin Venu 3 for a few weeks now and it is working out well for me. My primary objective in choosing this watch was to monitor my heart rate during exercise. Some of the other features are a bonus. I have come to appreciate the sleep score (sleep tracking) and body battery. It has been interesting to consult both to validate my energy levels at the start and end of the day. The display that I count on during my rides is bright and easy to read even in the sun. Post ride I enjoy the route map available on Garmin Connect. Overall, I am very pleased with the Garmin Venu 3 smartwatch. I highly recommend it!

Lacking customer support and battery life

I bought this product on Garmin's website. I included photos to show I actually have the product. Posting my review here to share my experience with the watch and Garmin. After having the watch for around 45 days, the battery only last for 4-6 hours. All the third party apps were uninstalled and the extra monitoring the watch can do were turned off with no improvement. Customer support has been impressively distant with no support so far. An engineering team has been contacted to monitor my watch. I have not heard back from them after a month of letting them have access to my watch. Customer support has been reached out to multiple times and they never follow up with anything. Hard to recommend Garmin if their team is unable to help resolve any issues.

Refreshing and more Fun to Use!

I am glad that I ended up with this watch! I had read another review on it before it arrived and it had me concerned but once I had a chance to give it a try out myself I was pleasantly surprised to see what it would have available! I find that it is better at noticing and noting my steps and movments and it seems to be more accurate on my step counts during my workouts too. I really appreciate knowing that it will give me info that I can use to assist me on my way to being healthy! And I am so appreciative of how it was built too so that the part that is in contact with my skin has less of an area that catches the yuck that makes it easier to wash away.

An amazing fitness watch

This is not my first Garmin watch and not my last; I am enjoying several things from the Venu 3 including the following. The battery life is amazing, I charge it once a week and I get a lot of notifications from texts, WhatsApp, home alarm and more. I like how easy it is to setup not only the Venu 3 but also the application for the phone as well as my computer and both of them offer a lot of information of my activities. The watch is always monitoring my health, how well I sleep, if I have to keep moving, or if I need to rest by giving me my body battery information. In the morning it gives me a morning report, including how well I slept, what the weather is going to be like for the day and more. I have taken the watch swimming, running, hiking, yoga, meditation, cycle, exercising and it does great on keeping track. I can pay using Garmin pay without my phone so I like that as well. I can also leave my phone at home when I am doing any of the activities. The watch has a lot of types of activities that it tracks and it also has training programs to follow. The Venu 3 is also compatible with both Android and Apple phones. Overall it is an amazing fitness watch, customizable and well made. I am enjoying it. I would like the charging to be on the side instead of the back but since I charge it once a week, it is not a big deal. I would like a bigger version too.

Feature rich and stylish

Been waiting for this upgrade for a while and it was definitely worth it. I'm a cyclist and this device compliments my Garmin head unit perfectly. The features are plentiful and the combo is great for even the most avid cyclist. I am particularly impressed with the display quality and the variety of watch faces available on Garmin Connect IQ Store. HRV and ECG are welcome introductions and the operating system is thankfully more intuitive than previous versions. As expected, Garmin Pay works faultlessly with my MasterCard for contactless payments. Voice Assistant is a handy addition, and when used with Google Home, works intelligently with my smart home devices for automation procedures. The watch is lightweight, has a massively improved battery life, and a wealth of new intelligent features (Glances). Garmin Connect is polished and integrates well with third party apps/services. All round, a great buy and I'm impressed with this generation of the Venu.

A Fantastic Upgrade: Garmin Venu 3 Delivers Everyt

I’ve been using my Garmin Venu 3 for a while now, and honestly, I’ve been loving it so far. It’s been a fantastic upgrade from my previous fitness trackers, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite gadgets. Design & Comfort: First off, the watch looks sleek and feels comfortable on my wrist. It’s lightweight, fits well, and the screen is bright and crisp, even outdoors in sunlight. The AMOLED display is a huge improvement over older models I’ve owned. Fitness & Health Tracking: The health features are outstanding. Heart rate monitoring feels accurate, and I like how the watch keeps track of my sleep, stress levels, and Body Battery. The hourly movement reminders help keep me active, but they’re not annoying. I used to be really into Fitbit challenges, and while Garmin does things differently, I’m enjoying the Garmin Connect community and challenges so far. Smart Features: Notifications come through seamlessly, and I love being able to see texts, calls, and app alerts right on my wrist. I’m especially impressed that I don’t have to manually select each app to receive notifications like I did with my older devices. Battery Life: Battery life has been solid, lasting several days on a single charge, depending on how much I use GPS and the screen. The only thing that’s been a bit tricky for me is the charging cable connection—it sometimes takes a moment to click into place. But it’s a small issue overall. Music & Apps: Spotify works great on the watch, and the ability to download music directly has been awesome, especially for workouts. I did notice that Garmin doesn’t support Pandora, which I used to use, but Spotify covers most of my needs. Final Thoughts: Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the Garmin Venu 3. It’s stylish, functional, and has all the features I want for health, fitness, and smart connectivity. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded smartwatch that goes beyond simple step counting.

Love my Watch!

I finally made the jump from my old Apple Watch to a Garmin and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. When doing my research about Garmin, I heard it described as “a fitness watch with smart watch capabilities,” and I believe this to be the most accurate description. This is one of the best watches around for tracking fitness and lifestyle. I have been wearing it daily for about a month now and enjoy all the statistics of my day to day. The battery on the Venu 3s is amazing! As preciously stated, I had an Apple Watch and could not make it through the day without needing it to charge for at least an hour. But this watch has never dipped below 85% battery during the day and charges to full while I take my daily showers. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the Garmin Venu 3s for anyone looking!

Fit Bit to Pixel to Garmin

Long time owner and fan boy of Fit Bit, loved it’s evolution into the smart watch category. Thought the purchase by Google would only mean great things, waited and bought a Pixel 2, 1 had really low battery life so I assumed they would get it right with the 2. I was wrong, within a few months the watch overheated and I was sent a replacement. Battery never lasted over 24 hours, occasionally when going to bed with it at 50% I would wake up with a dead watch and no data, ridiculous! Loved the apps and integration into my Google Home but… My loving wife feeling my frustration and being a long time fan girl of Garmin got me for my birthday a Venu 3. 14 day battery life? Right! Uh, it’s true, I am pleasantly surprised and impressed. Excellent assortment of apps for all forms of exercise and a few I had not heard of. Bit lite on ”Smart Apps”, really liked Google Home for Wear and used it frequently, there is an “equivalent” on Garmin’s app page and I’m still trying to configure it. At this time, less than 30 days, I am happy and look forward to my dive back into Garmin. I’ve owned many of their GPS devices for boat and auto, no clue why it took me so long to take this plunge!

Gamechanging Upgrade to My Vivoactive 3

I’ve been wearing the Venus 3 for 3-4 weeks after several months of my Vivoactive 3 essentially becoming unusable due to not holding a charge. The Venus 3 is light years ahead of any of my former Garmin watches. The screen is vibrant, the functionality makes sense, and I love all of the new apps and features (most probably aren’t new but to me they are!). I really like the ECG app and all of the enhanced health features and the activity sensing feature is also really cool. I don’t normally track casual walks with our pup but now my watch does it for me! I didn’t realize how much I’d enjoy that. Great purchase! I’m only kicking myself for not doing it sooner.
