Perfect summer hiking pant
Love! Lightweight, nice color, loose but good fit
New Della Joggers very different
I bought these DELLA JOGGERS twice before and loved them. But this pair is quite different. The elasticized leg bottoms (a defining feature of “joggers” and also an insect-repelling feature) are gone, replaced by a regular straight leg. The material has a totally different feel than my previous joggers, which were noticeably softer. This material is quite stiff. Finally, as others have remarked, the sizing is large. The Large I received this time is more like an XL.
they don't keep bugs away
I bought these pants in preparation for a trip to the mosquito-y north woods of Minnesota. I wore them first to an evening get-together in an urban setting - not a high-mosquito area - and I got two mosquito bites through these pants! Completely useless for the purpose for which I bought them!
Runs large.
In general, I liked these pants, but they are not true to the size chart. Per the chart, I ordered a size medium, but in fact, it was at least one size too large. I suggest you order one size smaller than you think you need.

Too large in the crotch area. Other than that, I loved the pants.
Sized too big
The extra small is the size of a medium. The cut is too baggy & shapeless. It’s so large that it’s uncomfortable to wear. Had to return it.
Very very disappointing!
I bought these pants (at least they had the same name) before and loved them so was excited to see them on sale and ordered more. These are NOT the same: 1) they are not joggers with elasticized cuffs; they are regular pants—wide legged, in fact. 2) they are HUGE. If I were to get again, I’d have to go down at least 2 sizes. 3) material is much heavier, not the lightweight fabric ideal for summer. So disappointed! Bring back the old version!
Good in every way and if you like things big
Comfortable and quick drying, packs compactly; the sizing is big. I got an extra small that is comparatively a medium to small.
Runs Large
I like that they are thin and lightweight, no elastic around the bottom. However, they run large! The XL was quite large on my 34" waist and 46" hips. Sadly, I had to return it.
Great as an over-layer for bug protection
I previously purchased a pair of these pants in the light green shade. They pull on easily, have deep pockets, and are lightweight enough to wear over my regular clothes. (I purchased a size larger than normal.) My goal was to have something to slip on quickly that will protect me from ticks while out in the field or on a walk in the woods. These fit the bill perfectly. In fact, I liked them so much for this purpose that I had my husband try them on and then purchased him a pair (size L, he is a 35-36 waist with a 30" inseam). Yes, they are loose and not a fashion statement, but they provide quick and easy bug protection. I did not have them to wear in summer heat, but they seem light enough that I think I will be able to use them over shorts without getting too hot.
