Whatever you do, do not waste your money on these socks. I purchased for summer to wear with slip ons. At first I tried wearing them before I washed and they kept coming off. Even when walking around the house with no shoes. Benefit of the doubt… I washed and put through dryer hoping that if they shrank they might fit better. It made no difference. When wearing with slip on shoes, they come off at the heel and scrunch up toward the front of the shoe. On the off chance they don’t do that, they are GUARANTEED to come off when taking off the shoes. Better off looking at ‘Darn Tough’ socks. If I were REI, I’d stop selling them all together.
Great socks for active use
Stance socks are great. The foot pads and typical wear points hold up really well. I’ve bought several different versions they make, and got these for my wife. REI should recognize the worker’s union.
