These socks are sized large. I wear a 10.5 shoe and the sox are at least an inch longer than normal for me. Also since they are only 1% elastic, they have almost no form. On the other hand they are very soft and comfortable to walk around in without shoes; however, I am not sure they would be good as hiking socks.
I recently bought and received these socks and they are gigantic! I ordered a L which is what I wear in Darn Tough, Smart Wool, and Co-Op Brand socks. The packaging they were in was labeled L, but they look and feel two sizes too big. I’ve never had this problem with Co-Op Brand socks, but these are more of a 2XL sock than a size L.
When these socks arrived, I noticed the packaging stated they were "cosmetic 2nds" (wasn't advertised as such)! Tried them on, and they felt cheap. My opinion is that they're a bit pricey for what they are. I returned them.
Excellent, comfortable, supportive hiking socks that also wash well.
