Cotopaxi  Trico Hybrid Insulated Vest - Women's

I got the wine/amethyst color, and while it works as it should, the upper material absorbs and shows any oil. Just wearing it one day I could see skin oil darkening the shade of the fabric. So it looks dirty. The upper material also doesn't feel good on bare skin if you're sweating even just a little. The only way this vest could work for me is if I wore a turtleneck with it every time. I wish the fleece was uptop, materials reversed.

Got this vest discounted almost half, so I was more willing to buy it and try it. The bodice area does not stretch but the lower half does since it is made of fleece. The edging at the hem also stretches. I really love the following features: higher, smaller arm holes; huge, deep hand pockets (kangaroo-like for pickleballs); zip pocket at chest for big cell phone; length covers 3/4 of bum. I ordered the size small and it is perfect for me. I'm 36 DDD; 130lb, 5ft 5in. This brand in size small is about 1 inch larger in the chest compared to the small of other brands. I tend to be between Small and Medium in general.

I love this vest! It is lightweight and still warm. It is a little oversized, which it what I was looking for. I do wish it had zippered pockets on the side, but there is a zippered chest pocket.

Like other products from this environmental-minded brand, this vest runs true-to-size and comes in bright, graphically-appealing colors. Although, at 5’2” and 108 pounds, I often wear XS, I bought this in a S to accommodate a bulky under-layer. I love the slightly capped sleeve, and the subtle but effective elasticized hem. Provides warmth with no loss of comfort. A real mood lifter on a snowy New England day!

I was in Va. a few weeks ago, it was chilly and I had no jacket. I stopped at REI when it started to rain to look for a lighweight jacket/vest that would be apporproate for the weather. A clerk showed me this vest which had just arrived. I picked the green/blue /orange color. I have worn it ever since. It is lightwieght and warm. You have room to wear a hoodie underneath. It was expensive-for a vest, but I hope to get alot of mileage out of it.

My wife really loves the soft fuzzy fleece on this vest, and the pockets. The hybrid look of the Trico vest is a nice change. The slick upper half wears well, as a layering piece. I bought it in the softer neutral color. She chose it intentionally, to wear with some ivory boots. This is true to size. She wears a medium, and it fit perfectly. This has become her go to, either around the house, or under her Fuego coat, walking the dogs. It was a birthday gift.

This vest has some stretch in the material so its length covers the hip properly without the need to go up in size. Just note that the arm hole for this cute vest is fitted due to the slightly cap-sleeve style so if you tend to wear a sweatshirt under a vest then should stay true to your size. The color combination is also cute. This style is more unique and no faults in the craftsmanship.

I returned a size S because it was very large. The XS was better, in terms of width, but the length is still very long for a short person with a short torso. Nonetheless, I like the style and weight of this vest. The one other improvement I'd made other than the length is the pocket is too small for my (overly large) cell phone. I'm sure others would have this issue too, but it's minor.

I purchased the vest at Christmas for my girlfriend. She and I are both satisfied with the quality and the color way is fun and looks awesome! She is 5’9” around 140 lbs. and a medium would’ve been fine… but the large I chose works better as she usually wears a sweatshirt underneath and leggings, so the length gives her a bit of coverage just below her waist.

The vest is the perfect weight for fall and spring days and also for wearing indoors if you don't like to keep your indoor temperature too warm. I love the colors - they go with everything but are not boring neutrals. I will be wearing the vest often; I'm already wearing it most days
