Finally found a vest that keeps my core warm without overheating or having cold spots!! I have struggled to find ways to keep warm in the core. Layering with base layer, fleece, and thin puffer. Tried several other brand vest. Nothing worked until this past Thursday I accidentally found a older version in clearance. Couldn't fit, asked for help and was directed to the rack of this version. This lady back to fall walks and out the gym. 5' 4" 155 lbs 38C medium fits perfectly. Not snug and not loose

Warm vest for running
Yes , I recommend this product
Great for running in cold/cool temps! I am 5'11 and wish it was just an inch or two longer in the torso or have a tall option. Bought on sale and have worn it for runs ranging from 25° to 40°F. Good number of pockets and not a heavy piece of clothing. Thin enough to layer under a coat but also keeps me very warm during long and short runs without a coat. Overall, good quality I expect from Smartwool, just wish it came in a tall option or slightly longer.

I love this vest. It looks good because it’s tapered at the waist and that makes it warmer too. It’s got a hood which comes in handy. Torso and head it can keep warm. I’m small and the small fit perfectly.

I was looking for a vest with outside zip pockets for a trip. This fit the bill..and then some! The hood cinched it !While wearing, discovered the 2 deep inside pockets and the inside zip pocket. Perfect to put my glasses while wearing sunglasses. Keys, cellphone, wallet and a pen all tucked safely without bulk. After return from trip, this became my new favorite, in the ice blue. Great with jeans.
