Smartwool  Smartloft Insulated Vest - Women's

I started wearing vests a few years ago, and they have a become a staple piece in my wardrobe! I was also introduced to wool clothing within the past few years. This vest is a perfect combo! This was an investment piece compared to my other vests, but it was 100% worth it. The vest is soft, comfortable and attractive. I’m already saving and planning for another one because it’s so much nicer than my polyfill ones. I am between a L and XL with a 36DDD bust. The large is more fitted, though it does pucker a tad bit at the armpits due to my bust. The XL is more of a loose fit and would layer better. I chose a large this time in the dusty teal and might choose an XL next time so I have both fit options. I am writing this review in hopes of winning a gift card toward my next vest, but I’d write it regardless because I like the vest so much!

REI has expert outdoor sales staff. I bought a great smart wool vest for my hike on the Camino and staff helped me to make sure I had the right size. REI is a dangerous store, they have everything you could possibly need for an outdoor excursion, it’s almost impossible to leave without something in my arms! Dry happy with my membership and treatment by the obvious experts.

Thin but warm vest- with a hood! I have always wa ted something Smarteool but hesitated because of the price. Figure I’m worth the splurge! Bought for my next hiking trip to Vermont and Quebec. Think I’ll end up wearing it all time in the Fall

Second time I have purchased this for my daughter. A fantastic vest, perfect for layering when dog-walking in the pacific northwest. After several years, she literally wore out the first one! So glad that you have kept it!
