I've purchased this product because it had a great mix of HighVis, Water Capacity, Lightweight, pockets, price, etc. I am giving it 1 star because these features cannot be used if the vest can't stay together. This review is written after Purchasing and returning this exact vest THREE SEPERATE TIMES. First one ripped after a single 10 mile jog. the 2nd ripped after an 8 miler, and this last one ripped after another high noon 7 miler. I run on flat country roads, and I'd consider myself a fairly smooth runner. I don't want this singular product review to represent their entire line of products, but I would pass on this particular product.
The pack itself is great, it’s got a light weight really good spots for pockets and can hold quite a bit. My issue with it is the water pouch, the twist open bag in the back is fine but I prefer ospreys fold and clip. Also I hate that I can’t take just the bag out to fill it up. The worst feature of the bladder is the nozzle for drinking, it is so ineffective I thought my water was out during a long hike in the Costa Rican jungle because almost no water would come out, I ended up getting super dehydrated because it was so bad to use. Honestly I’m waiting till after the holidays to see if an osprey pack will fit in it. The Nathan bladder is the worst I’ve used.
This was purchased for training abroad. It ripped after 6 long runs

I can't believe anyone has the gal to charge $90 for this. one of the elastic ties came out of its stitches before the first use, and the fabric inside tore along an interior seam during the first use.
Purchased for hydration on longer runs, great capacity and storage, great for visibility since I frequently run in the dark, very comfortable to run in. However the vest tore after 5 or 6 runs, Stitching cannot handle the weight/volume of the bladder. Questionable durability going forward. Very disappointed.

read the reviews about poor stitching quality and terrible bladder not threading core and leaking but purchased anyway. sad to say the reviews are accurate. the velcro holding the bladder to the interior top of vest fell out after several uses. screw on cap was extremely difficult to thread and would leak unless threaded perfectly, which i wasn’t sure why it was so difficult, but it was. finally, the water tasted terribly like plastic, even after rising and several uses. have started the process to return. on the bright side ;) , it has excellent reflectivity on the back and the chest pockets are pretty good and well designed.
I love my neon green hydration pack! I actually use it for skinning up the mountain, and it has enough compartments for my phone, JBL speaker, headlamp, etc. The water bag works perfectly, and the reflective feature makes sure snowcat drivers can see me! I’m rating it a 4 only because I need a little bit bigger pouch to put my skins in before skiing back down the mountain. I’m on the site now to find something very similar, but with a little bigger storage area. I do run as well, and that was the original intent to purchase. I’ve run 3-5 miles with it, and it works just fine!
Just like the others have said. Lining ripped after about 6 runs, on pavement, no longer than 10 miles. Beware.
The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that I had to modify it slightly to get it to work the way I wanted. The bite valve was impossible and only the tiniest amount of water could be sucked in, so I removed it. The water tube has a locking valve right behind where the bite valve attached, so I just used that instead. Now it works great. I haven't had any of the reported problems with durability/ripping or leaking. I suspect the leaking was due to not screwing the tube in correctly so that that the ring gasket is properly seated. Thumbs up
Prior to getting this vest I was running with a Freetrain vest--mostly to just hold my phone, but over time, all of the metal on the Freetrain vest corroded so I needed to look for something new. This has been a great vest. I run mostly in the early mornings on narrow, curving, Georgia roads so I appreciate the extra visibility it gives to drivers to alert to my presence. As others have mentioned, the hydration hose does not have great flow, but it is sufficient.
