[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I enjoy going on hikes and this hasn’t made it a lot nicer for the longer hikes. There is no BPA or PVC in it, which is always a plus it has breathable straps, snack pockets other odd and end packets for cell phones and other things the clips are very durable and it fits nicely. I would 100% recommend using this. The only reason I gave it to Four is because I’ve only used it twice and my biggest issue is cleaning it so I lost a star for that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very comfortable to wear while running. Does not feel heavy surprised it would feel heavy with water in it but no. Very easy to use and love it a lot
A solid concept, but the one size fits all is not very comfortable. I generally run an xl, but found this pack to slide around a lot, so I constantly had to readjust the fit. I’ve used it on three hikes, ranging from four to 13 miles. The 1.5 liter bladder functions great and is very easy to clean. The material and quality are great, but if you’re using this for an ultra race, which I had planned to do, recommend another product. If you’re doing short hikes or have a jacket under the vest, this would be a great fit. I did not use it for the ultra and have opted to return the vest for someone else where it is a better fit and match.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent sized hydration pack and is perfect if you love going out on hikes, bike rides, and even fishing. It’s a good quality material and i noticed zero leaking throughout the few times Ive used this. Also an easy clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In love with this hydration pack. It is so portable and useful. The water flow is amazing. Super durable as well & I love that there is a lot of room for storage. Super easy to refill as well.
Very light weight, easy to use when running. Honestly, I would say the fit was my only issue on race day but I hadn’t trained with it which was my fault. Felt like the shoulders were still too far apart even on the tightest chest setting. However, I didn’t properly manage the underarm straps so that could have been a contributing factor. Ran a half marathon in it and plan to use it for hiking trips now. Very excited and satisfied!!
I tried on several options including the Salomon, REI swiftland and a couple of others. I’m 6’2” with a 40” chest. This fits neat but for me but that’s exactly what I wanted. It doesn’t bounce, holds a puffy jacket (my Mammut Broad Peak in size L), gloves, hat and a few snacks. The pack material is stretchy so you can really shove things in there. There is also an elastic webbing on the exterior to affix things on the outside. My iPhone 17 pro max fits perfectly in the zip pocket on the left chest. I’ve worn this on nearly 200miles of running to date and I love it. The key things for me that made me pick this over the Salomon were 1) the zippable pack pocket on the back the Salomon is elasticated and I was worried things would fall out 2) the clips that secure the fit. The Salomon uses a finicky elastic “string” that is hard to close with cold hand or gloves. 3) the price. I got it on sale for about $80 I think. The Salomon was $145 or something.
Great hydration pack and the only Nathan one that I have with a zipper pocket for a phone. I do not know why Nathan hydration packs rarely have a zipper pocket in the front that is large enough for a phone. It is really useful since accessing the back of the pack requires taking off the pack. I wish hydration packs had larger front pockets, side pockets with zips and more pockets in general. I have added extra pockets for holding extras like keys and other electronics. They come with velcro straps to secure onto the Nathan's shoulder straps providing extra room in the front. If Nathan sold add-on pockets, I would buy those. I fill the hydration pack with water and freeze it. It provides cooling during the hot months and does not require constant cleaning except for the mouthpiece. The ice melts and provides ice cold water through the tube. Putting the tube back onto the bladder takes some strength. If I am not careful it pops off. It would be nice to have a screw type connection instead of just a push type one. I have used this pack for over a thousand miles and, when it goes, I hope there is a similar one as a replacement...with more pockets.
