Perfect Running Vest
I absolutely love the Nathan Pinnacle Breeze 4L Women’s Running Vest. As someone with a larger chest, finding a vest that fits comfortably and doesn’t restrict movement has always been a challenge. The front closures are fully adjustable, slide easily, and allow for a totally customizable fit. It stays secure without ever feeling tight or awkward. The pocket layout is fantastic. There are plenty of options to stash gels, snacks (I’m a fan of Nerds on the run!), and other essentials within easy reach. The zip pocket is perfect for keeping my salt tabs, phone, keys, or cards safe and secure. The included two collapsible flasks are a huge plus—they’re easy to access while running and stay snugly in place. And for my long run this weekend, I added a hydration bladder in the back pocket, and it worked perfectly. No bounce, no discomfort, just easy hydration when I needed it. The vest is lightweight, super breathable, and honestly, very aesthetically pleasing. I’ve already gotten a few compliments on the color! If you’re on the fence, don’t wait. I have zero complaints. This vest checks every box! I truly don’t know why I didn’t buy it sooner.
Comfort that lasted
Oh my goodness, this is the best-fitting hydration vest I have used! Being of smaller stature (height, not width), I have tried multiple styles of camelbacks and hand-held water bottles, all of which were absolutely cumbersome and uncomfortable. This vest had multiple adjustments and stayed tight against my body without bouncing, no matter how full the two water flasks were. The pouch on the back was great for my lightweight rain jacket; I didn't feel the extra weight or pull from the extra mass on my back. I did not try to carry my phone in the zipper pocket, maybe another day. I used the vest for an event that was greater than 40 miles, and its comfort lasted the entire time.
Lightweight and Breathable
I have avoided hydration packs for so many years as they have always felt to heavy, chafing issues, not fitting right. I found this pack and it’s been a game changer. I have had no issues with chafing, even with wearing a sports bra, it’s so lightweight I don’t even notice it and it’s breathable. If I could change 1 thing about this pack it would be to add a key holder. I am 5’5 127lbs and purchased xxs - xs.
I want to give 5 stars
I loved upgrading my old running vest to the is Nathan vest, but within two months, the band for the right side water bottle has almost completely snapped off. I still love the fit, but the bottle will not stay in place now which prohibits me from being able to carry two bottles.
So far, so good!
This is my first running vest, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I've worn it twice. Pros: No chafing. I hardly feel it when I'm running. Easy to get things in/out of the pockets. No strange taste to the water. Cons: I'm still getting used to drinking from the water bottles; I have to bite down pretty hard to get water. When I put my phone in the front zippered pocket, it digs in to the front of my breast (and I'm only a B cup), so I've still been keeping my phone in my pants/shorts. For reference, I'm 5' 4", 115 lbs, 34B and the XS size fits perfectly.
This vest was just what I needed for my Marathon
This vest was just what I needed for my marathon. It held all of my gels and water spouts were perfect length.
I AM UNSTOPPABLE IN THIS VEST
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went for a run and decided to get croissants and literally fit the whole box in the back pocket. This vest is somehow the perfect combo of lightweight comfort and ample storage. It offers plenty of storage space, with well-placed pockets that make it easy to access essentials like gels, a phone, and keys. This vest also is essential for hot runs to prevent overheating! PLUS IT IS GORGEOUS! Overall, the Pinnacle Breeze rocks and I would highly recommend!
Great product
Great fit with lots of adjustment so no movement when running. Water containers are extremely light weight and pack down really small when empty. The 2 x 14 oz bottles are enough for medium runs (up to 10 miles) but may need to add more capacity for longer runs on hot days. Wish the hoses on the bottles were just a little longer as you do have to bend rather awkwardly to drink but overall I love this vest.
Great Vest
I love this vest. It's super light weight and very breathable. I'm not a fan of the long hose on the two bladders. I get that they are the length they are for easy drinkability, I just don't like them. I ended up swapping them out for another type. I also had to downsize. I initially got a S/M and after the second use, I realized it was too big.
Lightweight, breathable vest
Super lightweight and breathable vest. I always thought vests would feel bulky and hot but wore it for the first time on a 15 mile trail run with 1,700ft elevation and barely felt it on. The liquid didn’t feel sloshy at all. The fabric didn’t move at all or chafe at all. Nice extra pockets to store my pouches, keys, phone, whatever.
