I bought a size S/M after trying on in store, but this vest was just too loose and floppy and big after my first trial run with it. I wear a size 34F bra so it is hard to find a running vest that sits in a good place on my chest. This vest started out OK especially with the straws, but the bottles ended up settling below my chest almost on my stomach, and the straps would start to twist if i didn't drink from the bottles evenly. I ran 12 miles and adjusted, tightened, and shifted the speed clasps several times to find a good fit but was unable. I don't like that the bottles are only 414 ml- not enough to meet several race requirements of 1L minimum. I also tried to use the bladder hook in the back with an existing bladder but it was so floppy and unsupported I did not end up even trying it on my run. I will be returning. The materials are good and I am sure it works for some people but my experience was poor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Testing out the @nathansportsinc Pinnacle Breeze 4L Hydration Vest. The Pinnacle Breeze features sternum slider cords and Quick-Fit™ adjustment system, wrapped in lightweight mesh for unmatched comfort. It comes with two 14oz/420mL NATHAN® HydraPak flasks and six pockets, providing a perfect blend of support, airflow, and storage. The L/XL size fits me perfectly. I was able to adjust it pretty easily to fit snuggly but not restrictive. The three slider cords slide up and down on one side and are fixed on the other so you can customize it to your body shape. The two 14 oz soft flasks with extended straws stayed in place without bouncing yet were very easy to drink from. I drained both of them on a 5 mile run so I think I’ll have to add a bladder for longer runs during the summer here in Arizona.
I like the breathability and lightweight of the vest, however, when running, I found that the straws would constantly come out of the small loops at the top. For some, this may not be an issue, but not having the straws strapped in played havoc with my peripheral vision when the would pop out. I wish the straps were a little lower. This is enough of a factor for me to want to return it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vest worked perfectly for what I needed. Currently training for a 70.3 and the vest is perfect for long runs especially on hot summer days with plenty of space for gels and my phone! Wish I had this during my last marathon. Planning to use it on some hikes also where I expect it will be perfect. Very happy with it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing cool comfort! I am enjoying wearing this vest so much! So light and breathable! Love that I can add a bladder for my longer runs. The Material is so soft and dries quickly.
Fits well, haven’t worn it past 10 miles yet but it has done me well and holds everything I need.
Fits like a glove, absolutely love it!
