Great Sunglasses, good warranty
I've really enjoyed these. The plastic material it is made of is fairly flexible, so I'm not really worried about breaking them as easily. I like that they don't have a super hard tint that makes it too hard to see in general. They appear super red when looking through them. I also have not had to use it, but they do come with a lifetime warranty which is a big plus. I would say I also have a larger than average head, and these fit well. That means they may be a bit too big on average to smaller heads.
Decent for the Price!
Used these for a week in Mexico. Lightweight glasses with a nice case and cleaning cloth. The optics are clear without distortion and the polarization was on par with my wife's pair of Maui Jim. They went in the pool and the ocean with no ill effects. They did seem a little light, but the price is right. If they get destroyed or lost it wouldn't hurt as much as a pricier brand. The only thing that took a while to get used to was the color of the lenses. Usually, I get a gray or brown and that's what I am used to. They look green/blue on the outside, however, these had a definite pink/purple tint when wearing them. If color accuracy is what you need look for a different pair with non-color lenses.
Lightweight and Durable! Great pair of shades!
These are an excellent pair of sunglasses. They are very lightweight which is nice for long use and not hurting your ears. They are also very durable! I have a 9 month old who more than once got ahold of these and they lasted the baby abuse perfectly, impressive! Honestly, my only negative was I was not a big fan of the mirrored finish on the lenses, but that is my own problem. They do slightly alter the colors when you look through them, if that's something that might irritate you. I did not get a chance to test out the floating, but give how light they are I'm sure they do. I would recommend getting strings for them thought if you were doing something sporty cause I could see them falling off a lot with extreme use.
Cheap feeling
Ordered a pair of clear with blue lenses got a pair of black with regular black lenses. Out of the box the case is great it's sturdy and well-made. The glasses themselves feel like they're a bit cheap the frame is narrow like most cheaply made sunglasses, and they did not fit my face.
Pepper’s is junk
These are horrible quality, it’s disappointing to see REI trade quality for variety. Don’t buy these.
