Lightweight and blocks sun glare
I've worn Smith sunglasses for a long time. Great for cycling and running because it's so lightweight and blocks out sun glare. I have a small face but they do not slip off or move. I only gave 4 stars for this order because I ordered the Crystal Mediterranean/Carbonic Polarized Blue Mirror, but the frames are NOT mediterranean blue nor are they even close to being a blueish color. Although the lenses are a beautiful blue color, the frame is straight black. The stock photos may look like the frame is slightly translucent with blueish hue but trust me, it's black. Someone on Amazon reviews said they called Smith and they told them that they changed the frame color to black but haven't updated the photos yet on any websites. Just a warning for anyone thinking of getting these sunglasses. I still like them.

V2 is just marketing nonsense
These are nearly identical to the prior version except for the attachment point of the lens, which leads me to conclude that this is just a BS way for a company to stop supporting their prior product so that people are forced to by a new version. I love these glasses and have had a pair of parallels for 2 or 3 years now. Every once in a while I buy a new pair of lenses for $30 or so, no big deal. Now I'm forced to buy an entirely new pair of glasses because they no longer make the old lenses, yet I get literally nothing for my purchase except the ability to throw away my old frames. God I hate companies.

My only complaint is the

My only complaint is the fit. I’m a small guy (5’4) and was hoping they’d be snug based on reviews I had read. I trail run, and would prefer a tighter fit. Otherwise super lightweight, stylish and effective.

Exceeding expectations!

I purchased a pair of Smith Parallel sunglasses with interchangeable lens for different weather conditions for bicycling. Over the years, my most frequently worn lenses started to delaminate. A friend who worked at a bicycle store urged me to request another pair through Smith’s lifetime warranty. While I did so, thinking it unlikely to get so much as a new pair of lenses (that may not fit my old frames), my expectations were far exceeded when I soon after received not only a credit that covered the cost for a new sunglasses but also included a pair of rose-colored lenses that really help to brighten up an overcast day!

My fave sunglasses ever.

i'm a petite lady/hiker.These are the best fitting sunglases w the best optics I've ever had. So comfortable and breathableThey never fog, never have scratched. The best part, y can change the color type lense y want, they include an extra f cloudy days,I rarely use. My other pair has the darker chromopop lenses in that are amazing and don't distort color. These brown lenses, can sometimes distort color,in favor of details.I love both pairs. I lost my last brown pair,@ a restaurant. Natuyrally no one turned in. I couldn't find these on Amazon,or the Smith website. But YAY! REI still has them. Pricey, but def worth it.

Poor Fir

While the fit and clarity of these glasses are great the way the lenses are secured to the frame is second rate. I work in fairly rough terrain and it is not uncommon for the lenses to fall out of the frames when bouncing around in my work truck.. This also occurs when cleaning the glasses.

Solid social / easy use glasses, excellent lenses

Excellent lens quality and love the rose and dark lens selections, perfect for all applications between the two. Wear these as social glasses or for hiking, would not find them to be snug enough for MTB riding and to stay in place for such. Lenses easily dislodge when cleaning them, making them very easy to change between the two.

Smith Parallel 2 Sunglasses

This is my first purchase of Smith glasses. I purchased them for several reasons. Fit, looks, quality, and clarity. I have been looking for a pair of good sunglasses for when I am hiking or playing golf. Once I tried on this pair I knew I had found what I was looking for. I have been wearing them for a month now and am very happy with them.
