I liked the jacket but I returned it….

As the title says, I did like the jacket. Somewhat. I enjoy the length and it kept me dry. The latter part was pretty important. However, I made the mistake of looking at other jackets online. I realized I wanted a little more control over the hood and I really wanted pit zips! I ended up returning this jacket so I could buy a jacket with the features I wanted. Beyond that, there is a flap over jacket zipper. That flap is kept closed with Velcro. The draw string from the hood kept getting snagged on the top patch of Velcro. It doesn’t seem like much, but it was annoying and started to make the draw string look old and worn. Also, the hand pockets have a flap and a snap button. I hadn’t realized how attached I had gotten to my flap-less and zippered pockets from my previous jacket, until I started wearing this new one. So, if you are ok with draw strings catching on Velcro and snap closing pockets with flaps, I would recommend you checking out this jacket. The length is wonderful and it will keep you dry but the Velcro was just too annoying for me and it turns out, put zips are just as amazing as you might think. Someone needs to start a business making custom rain jackets bc I would happily pay to have one made just the way I desire.

Good bargain

I ordered this on clearance and I'm happy with it for the price. I wouldn't have paid full price for it. It is lightweight and compacts into a nice little ball. It doesn't fit into a pocket, that would be a nice feature. Perfect for trips out in the rain. There is elastic around the wrists, and a drawstring around the hood. The pockets are Velcro closure only, with a flap over to keep them watertight. Overall, a good bargain.

Nice jacket, flattering if you're kind of round

Nice rain jacket, fits nicely (and I'm on the rounder side), glad I got it. Nice material. the hand makes it seem like it wouldn't keep out rain but it does. :-)

rain coat

Suppose to be a rain coat but it is not water proof. Gave one star because it doesn't function the way it was designed and advertised. Water goes right through it. I have only rinsed the coat with luke warm water once when muddy, never washed with any kind of soap.

Didn't seem very waterproof

I didn't even take this out of the bag. I bought it after searching for a rain coat, but the fabric didn't look waterproof at all so I returned it. Maybe it would be a good windbreaker?
