Shoes started stinking after 2 days of wearing the shoes. They didn’t get wet or anything. Just stinky. Not of the same quality of my previous 3 orders. Big let down for me
I’ve been running in Guides for years. They’re my go to stability shoe, lightweight for a stability shoe, very durable, and reasonably speedy for their category. I’ve got them in the salmon and mint colors. They fit true to size, 8.5 Wide.
its been 4 weeks of wearing these puppies, and absolutely love them. the color is gorg but i love the comfort i have with them, the cushioning is amazing!!
Man, covid supply chain issues have things very jacked...I've been loving and running in the Brooks GTS for 6 years and have loved their older ones. They've been going down hill and I couldn't find my size for several months. This forced me to go looking for other stability shoes. I'm so glad I found these Guide 15s. They are nice and lightweight, something that can almost never be said about stability shoes. The major downfall is they do NOTHING to keep our water, not great if you are running in Oregon. My socks were dripping after my 6 mile run today and it wasn't actively raining, just standing water on the roads.
Over the past 8 years I have purchased approximately 15 pairs of Saucony guide tennis shoes. This has been my go to shoe from high school cross country and pole vault practice, to running two full marathons. These shoes have been reliable so I have never felt the need to try another brand. However, this model and the guide 14s have worn out way quicker, even mostly running on roads and fine gravel. My most recent pair of the guide 15s have been the most comfortable and speedy, but have worn out after < 100 miles. These are no longer worth the money and I dread now having to look for a different brand.
Good stability shoe with the right amount of cushioning and bounce back without being too thick to feel the floor.
These shoes are so comfortable, cushiony, and breathable. I live these model!! My feet are so happy right now.
Initially ordered my usual 9.5 for Guide style as I’ve done for years. This new style runs big. Foot was swimming in the forefoot. I also have a narrow foot. Returned immediately and figured the Guide was no longer my “go to.” After reading similar reviews, I ordered a half-size down - 9.0 - and to my surprise they fit so much better and narrower for my foot. Was afraid they’d be too short in the toe, but they aren’t. Highly recommend you try a half size down if you are experiencing a similar situation, as it may just work. I’m so relieved I don’t have to search for a new favorite shoe. I ordered Navy/Silver and it’s a beautiful dark navy shade.
So I initially ordered the regular fit of sneaker. I quickly learned that it was a little narrow and too tight at the side of my foot near my toes, so made an exchange for the wide fit. They are perfect and so comfortable. I’m a nurse in a busy NICU and am on my feet for 12 hours. I leave my shift and I don’t have achy feet. I just wish the process for exchange was a little easier and having the ability to exchange for different fits etc. I had to do a return and separate purchase to be able to get the wide fit. The cs representatives were wonderful, walking me through the process and refunding me the cost difference and shipping costs.
This review is for the GUIDE 14 which I just bought: The shoe is comfortable and I haven't experienced any joint or leg muscle fatigue so far (I've run 37 miles in it). I love the laces - thicker so I don't have to double-knot them to keep them from opening while I'm running. My only issue so far is the left shoe's area around the ball of my foot (where the toes connect to the foot) is too tight; I keep expanding the width there by loosening the laces, but at Mile 4, my toes consistently start to get numb. I don't know if the way this particular shoe was strung is the issue, or all Guide 14s would cause this problem.
