Super disappointed

I bought these about a month ago and while I was incredibly excited about the color way and how bright they are, I am extremely disappointed in the performance. They rub my pinkie toes when I run and every single time I wear them I get a new blister on my heel regardless of what I do (different socks, athletic tape, heel lock lacing, blister patches). I now have a new pair of training shoes that continue to hurt me and take away from training days. Extremely disappointed and feel like I wasted my money.

Dissatisfied fan

I bought these a couple of months ago and have been disappointed in the support I have been wearing this model for several years now and I have to say there is something different with this pair. I have flat feet and over pronate. This pair seems extra big for my typical size 8.5 my foot feels like it slips no matter how tight I tie them. They are so uncomfortable I ended up buying the Omni which has the support I need but wish it had the same toe box as the Guide. May be on a search for a new brand of shoes , I expect better quality out of shoe with the price tag of the Guide.

Nice Cushion and Toe Box

I needed a shoe to replace the Tempus 2 since they are no longer available. I am finding the Guide 19 perfect for my long runs. It is not as speedy as the Tempus line but I love the wider toe box and the cushion. I tried Guides many years ago and did not like them but I am loving the updated version. I think I have found my new Ultra distance shoe!

Very comfortable

I am “new” to walking. I have a disabled daughter who has had some set backs recently, basically making us house bound. I was frustrated with that and decided to make adjustments. I knew I needed a good, supportive shoe due to high arches and age. What a difference these shoes have made. Though I am pushing her (90 + lbs) plus a special chair (another 50+ lbs), I don’t feel the work/strain as I did in the fashion shoes I had started walking in. It is going to help keep me motivated to walk regularly knowing I am not going to be sore after. Thank you for this shoe!!!

Best shoes!

I went to a running store to figure out the best shoe for me after building up my power walks to runs since my old shoes started to make my feet and body feel uncomfortable. I’ve been wearing these now for about a month though and do only runs on a treadmill. These have changed how my body feels after a run for the better!! I land more on my heel when walking and my right foot tends to lean inward more which is what caused previous knee and arch pain in my previous shoes and with this shoe it gives me the arch support needed to help stabilise my food and the cushion needed to help me with the knee pain. Love these shoes so much, and they’re not too cushioned to where you can’t wear them for a regular workout either.

Comfy for standing at work

Not the shoe shape I was hoping for, but super comfortable. I bought these for work (have to have solid black) and wanted another pair of running style Saucony shoes. I recently bought the women's Endorphine Speed 5 and I was hoping for something simila as they are by far my all-time favorite tennis shoe. These are closer to what a Hoka running shoes which are just so big looking to me. But they are super comfortable, so I decided to keep them. I'm not disappointed in how the fit or feel at all.

Best all day stability shoe!

This will be my second pair of Guides and I’m so incredibly happy! I’ve got overpronation and these make a WORLD of difference. If I wear other shoes, I can barely walk after a full shift on my feet all day. With these, all of my stiffness and pain has vanished! The cushioning is awesome, i feel like I’m practically bouncy! Can’t say enough great things about these shoes. Very true to size, and reasonably priced.

I do not recommend

I am incredibly disappointed with these shoes. I have been a loyal Saucony customer for years and these are the first pair that have not met my expectations. After wearing them for a week, I ended up seeing the chiropractor for pain in my heels and knees. The sole is too thick - instead of providing extra support, there is too much cushion at a strange angle which makes them feel unstable.

Narrower than 18

I was so disappointed in this new version of the Guide. I went out for a short run and they rubbed horribly on my pinky toe no matter how much I loosened the laces. I LOVED the Guide 18s, so much so that I bought two pairs of them last year! Really bummed that they narrowed the toe box in this new version, because the rest of the shoe felt great.
