I’ve only put 20 miles on my new Azura’s and I’m OBSESSED. They’re lightweight, have stable foam (same as the endorphin speed), are still cushioned, and the toe-off is epic. I feel like it’s easy to run with proper form in these shoes (my feet land directly underneath my body). I cannot recommend this shoe highly enough. It’s a jack of all trades. Great for mellow long runs but also fantastic as you gradually pick up the pace. A fantastic addition to the endorphin lineup. Well done, Saucony!
I have been watching the reviews about the new Azura since they were released. I am a Marathon Runner and have been struggling to find a good shoe since I lost faith in the Asics Nimbus a few years back. I have been using the Hoka Clifton10 for the past year but have not been completely satisfied it was the right shoe for me. I went for my first 10 km hilly run this morning in my new Azura and was impressed. The show provided more bounce and cushion then what I was expecting and very comfortable as my foot immediately molded right into the shoe. I am going to order a second pair for my spring Marathon Training! Thank you Saucony for bringing out this shoe
Bought these for my first run post op from knee surgery. They're excellent. I probably won't use these for speed runs but they're a great all around show otherwise!!
Big fan of the Endorphin line. Use the Speed V5 for a lot of training and the ProV4 for speed days and races. I was looking forward to the Azuras for an alternate no plate shoe. I sub in the NB Rebel for easy days because there is no plate. I find the Azura roomy compared to the Speed which is ok. There is more stability in the Azura laterally and I really don't need it or like it. I also don't understand what the slotted line on the sole of the shoe is for. I will continue to run in the Azura, but will not be a long term part of my rotation.
This shoe had phenomenal reviews online. Normally I wouldn’t purchase a shoe on its release date but I was excited to try it after the Endorphin Shift had been discontinued and this looked like a similar iteration. It is already my favorite Saucony shoe, the foam and the rocker feel fast but stable. I’ve taken it out for a 10 miler and a few shorter runs and didn’t have any issues. Can’t wait to plug even more miles in them!
I’ve been looking for a shoe that bridges the gap between a speed day trainer and a comfortable daily runner, and the Endorphin Azura is exactly that. It feels very lightweight on foot. Combined with the rockered geometry, the overall shape makes it feel almost effortless to pick up the pace. It has that "pop" you usually only find in plated shoes, but without any stiffness that could make easy miles uncomfortable.
Love this shoe! Would have given it a five if Saucony had got the colors right. The octane colors are too obnoxious and regular muted colors are awful and other colors have white which gets dirty or boring black. Yellow is ok. Would like to see a purple, aqua blue, teal, or maybe pink or orange colors. Simple bright colors that won’t get dirty and support runner visibility and safety.
Great fit, style and performance running shoe. Good cushioning and that extranbit of spring forward with the design of the toe.
Loved these shoes immediately! I'm a big fan of the Endorphin speeds but was looking for a no plate option. These are perfect! Lightweight, responsive, the toe box is snug but not tight. I'll likely order a second pair as the hi octane colorways are more my taste and I'll be wearing these out quickly!
