- Quick-release RCS (Ripcord System) fit system gives you 4 cm of micro-adjustment for a perfect fit; instantly release the RCS by pulling up on the adjustment dial

Low profile, comfortable, horrible finish (black)
This helmet is quite comfortable and low profile. You can see it side by side with the Smith helmet it replaces in my included images. I am shocked at how much wear it shows after a single 3 day trip. The smith helmet it replaces shows similar wear after 10+ years of being treated about the same. I reached out to Pret and they assured me this is “normal” and not an issue with the finish. While some comprable competitors product costs (and weighs) 50% more I think the durability is worth the cost and half a pound. Regretting going with a Pret and expect to be shopping for a new helmet in a season or two when the finish is peeling or wear otherwise impedes normal use.
Great features, not my fit
I have a small size head and the low neck support around the adjustment knob kept hitting the back of my lower neck creating discomfort every time I’d would lift my head. Clearly stated: the back is too low for a small head -even fully adjusted. Otherwise, great quality product.
Great helmet
Used it once, but already love the fit. Super comfortable even with headphone speakers in the ears. The Fidlock buckle is awesome. I first tried one on my last bucket and now I won’t buy a helmet with an ordinary clip ever again.
Overall good, but ripcord system is no boa
The ripcord system for adjustments is much harder to use than a boa, both to tighten and release. Wish they’d just used a boa instead.
Light weight, great fit, better than Smith
I tried this helmet at the same time as the Smith Level MIPS. The pret was lighter, fit snuggly and was easy to use. The adjustable vents do a good job and my ears were comfortable
