4 season gloves

I love these gloves, they have minimal padding (no "padding" actually, it is just extra fabric for protection) and great fit so the contact on my bars is not sacrificed. They are also very warm gloves and are great for ridding year round if you are more than a fair weather rider !

Great gloves, but with terrible padding.

tl:dr The gel pads on these are awful. These were my first non-winter gloves from Hestra. At first they seemed great. The stitching is Hesta-quality, the mesh is surprisingly breathable, the finger tips work with my phone, but after the first day of riding with them my hands were SORE. The problem is two fold, the gel layout is odd because it comes up along the inside of the thumb so that it is in that spot between your index and thumb where your weight is on the handlebar continuously. This seemed odd compared to other padded gloves I have used, but the problem is that the gel they use is obnoxiously firm so instead of having a comfy gel pad, you have this rigid gel that is where you put your weight. I've ridden on them a half dozen times thinking the gel might break down a bit, but it doesn't. I have been very tempted to pull the stitching to remove the padding since they're the problem on an otherwise great set of gloves.
