didn’t last
Elegant lid, but it broke fairly quickly. Hard to clean, dirty smell remains. You could hear liquid inside but can’t get in to clean it. Purchased other Purist products, their customer service never got back to me regarding issue.
Game changer
The Scope lid makes the Purist the first bottle that I will actually use. Liquids stay IN, odors do NOT, and the 360° availability is elegant and hassle-free. Highly recommend.

I bought this as extra option for the 18oz purist mug. I use it for coffee on the go. It allows me to sip hot liquids without burning and can also close and throw in my bag without leaks.
Easy to drink without having to look at the bottle
This cap is fantastic! Ingenious design. I can grab the bottle, twist it, and just start drinking not having to worry about the orientation of the opening. Dont have to worry about a cap attached to the lid to fiddle around with. This is great when you are driving and trying to get a quick sip. Just a quick turn and you are drinking without having to even look down at the bottle to see the orientation. Worth the money!
No more funky after taste!!!
This is the only water I keep in my car. The 18 fl oz size is perfect. The scoop cap works seamlessly. I love the fact that with a light twist, I can control the flow of the water for a tiny sip or a quick gush of water. The best feature of the scoop cap is I can drink from any orientation, no need to look for the mouth opening, the opening is 360 degrees which is perfect when you need to take a quick sip of water while driving without having to look at my water bottle. Plus the reason why I purchased the Purist water bottle is their unique patent pending internal unbreakable glass lining which really works. I had tea one day and water the other day. My water tasted like water and did not have any aftertaste from my previous tea drink. The bonus is the gorgeous minimal and ingenious product design of this water bottle. The brand name Purist says it all. Looks beautiful sitting in my car cup holder. Love it!!! Now I want to buy the smaller cup-size version with the scoop cap for office days, which will come in handy for office meetings.
LID NOT CLEANABLE
Impossible to clean effectively. If you keep tea or coffee with milk in it, this will be a problem. After a few uses, we noticed it smelled a bit. I used mini bottle brushes and swept thru the top lid and bottom opening, and a lot of gunk came out--and I'm sure not all of it. We also banged the lid against the dish pan after soaking and even more gunk came free. It probably, like all these black lids, will develop mold that you can't see. We've seen these in a host of other water bottles with clear cap lids. They all develop mold. And we certainly smelled the old milk smell. Not practical because it cannot be cleaned. And it is plastic, yes BPA free, but it probably still isn't great for you as they are discovering about all non-BPA plastics. Fellows makes a bottle with a stainless steel cap and it's fully cleanable because you can see all parts that touch your beverage. Klean Kanteen also makes a non insulated water bottle that is easy to clean and that also is all stainless so nothing but steel touches your beverage.
