I didn't realize Snow peak updated their 450 Ti double wall mugs. If you have the old mug, this lid fits great, if you have the new designed mug it falls off easily and is totally useless. I bought this lid from REI because I liked that the lid was all black; the updated lid on snowpeak's website has the asterisk-looking symbol in white with rest of lid in black color. Not realizing there was a dimension size update I bought the all black one from REI thinking the only difference was color. Bummed it didn't work out, wish it was explained a bit better online. writing this review to hopefully help someone else out. If your curious to know if you have the old or new 450 Ti-double wall mug, it is hard to know cause they look identical online. i dont see dimensions on the old mugs listed to compare with the new mug dimensions so seems like you need to make a random guess based on how far back you purchased your mug. goodluck .. also the lid is a magnet for lint like fuzzies so that might be annoying depending on your preferences
