Horrible design, move eyelets to opposite sides.
Absolutely horrible design. Whoever designed this has never had to carry something long distances via a strap. Placing the two connecting points right next to each other is an awful design. Will be returning as soon as I get back to town and swapping for the Northface water bottle holder.
Chums Rover Bottle Sling
I bought this item for an upcoming hiking trip. It's great for carrying a water source however with cell phones being the size they are these days, it will not hold a newer model cell phone. I have a Samsung S24 and it would not fit. I bought this thinking it would hold my cell phone and water bottle, but it was too small.
Adding bottle negates the storage features
This sling looks great when it's flat --- several good features like a zip pocket, and webbed pocket as well. However, once you add the bottle, those features are almost useless. The curvature of the bottle negates the storage pocket space. You'll never get your flat phone in there or keys and wallet (for example). The outer web pocket is not sturdy/deep enough to secure a phone either (with bottle inserted).
solid sling
This was the only bottle sling I could find that was simple and fit across the body. It makes a great way to carry water for a short hike. Beats the heck out of cheap tourist grade bottle slings.

This thing is perfect
I need a way to easily carry my dog water bottle when we were walking, and this is great. Plus the front pocket holds my phone. Great purchase.
