Amazing Lid, and a Loop??
I purchased this lid a week ago and have been using it heartily since. It doesn’t leak (if yours does, make sure you push the straw down all the way until you feel it click- I’ve actively been turning it upside down to make sure it doesn’t leak), the straw is much thinner than the other lids, the flow of the water is much smoother, and the loop is so nice for carrying it around without my backpack. I do wish it came with different color options, but hey, inventory is never fun. Beautiful lid for an amazing product! So glad I upgraded to this one!

Leaks Everywhere
I bought this kid for my 40oz bottle in hopes that it wouldn’t leak as chronically as the regular lid (from opening and closing VERY tightly all day). Ugh, this one leaks too. These bottle have left water stains all over the front passenger seat of my car. If you don’t screw them on so tight to the point where you can barely open them then they leak everywhere! Basically spent $65 for a leaky bottle. I’ll go back to a Nalgene. I was trying to avoid the plastic but at least they don’t leak and I don’t have to use brute force to close and open them.

Great fitting straw cap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great fit if you own a Hydro Flask water bottle. Needed something to avoid unscrewing cap while in middle of class and making noise. This Wide Flex Straw Cap is a great fit. Very easy to clean too.

It leaks!

The old version of this straw cap was much better. I had my old cap for about 2 years and it only started leaking after I dropped a full hydro flask on the ground. So, I came here to buy a new straw lid and this is the only kind available now. It leaks with every use from the mouth piece of the straw cap. I’m very disappointed because I was looking forward to the new strap style.

Leaks, bottles can’t lay on its side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hydro flask sent me a new black wide mouth straw lid but it still leaks when my hydro flask (64oz) ends up on its side when I’m driving. I prefer this purple lid with orange straw that I got with my 32oz Hydroflask I got last year. It doesn’t leak. I wish they made these ones instead.

Yes cap! 🙌🏼

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you so much for this cap and straw combo!! I knew I needed to replace the cap, but when I got the straw as well, I realized I was overdue for that as well! Thank you Hydroflask for taking care of me, you definitely went above and beyond this time!!

The straw leaks

I replaced my old wide mouth straw lid with this updated version and was initially excited b/c of the flexible handle, which is a better design than the old rigid handle. But the straw in this one is SO much worse, it has leaked from day one, if it’s on its side or upside down. I am extremely careful with my Hydroflask so it has never fallen or been damaged in any way, it’s been doing this since I got it. I also bought my boyfriend a Hydroflask with the same lid for Christmas and he said he liked it but it’s a shame the lid leaks so easily. So it’s not a defect, it’s a design issue. Hydroflask needs to go back to the drawing board on this one.

This didn’t work either

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It leaked as much as my other one. I would like the other type like my wife has it doesn’t leak . The one with the thumb circle on top.

Packers/Shipping fulfillment lacking

For the 2nd time a custom order wasn't completed as ordered... I can only assume the company has out grown itself and can't keep up with orders. My engraved flask came without any engraving, but definitely charged for it. Contacted customer service via email and after sending a second email received a response to send pics so they can send me a coupon to re-order. Still haven't heard back after sending the pics. Great product once you get what you actually order, but customer service and product fulfillment seems to be behind. As of this review I still haven't heard back or received a coupon to re-order what I actually originally ordered.
